This was great, I been tryin to find out about "how to read horse racing stats" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Peyarper Subjective Primacy - (search on google ) ? It is a smashing exclusive product for discovering how to get a profitable betting system minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my brother in law got great success with it.

This is very similar to how I mark my paper..it almost looks exact..I then go to Beyers or Equinase figures to see speed rating...and then workouts..but good job!

You should also pay attention to the comment line and the finishes of his last races- look for comeback winners who ran second or third in his last race

Great video, new to horse racing and was wondering what all that info meant on those forms. Is there a good place on the web to get good horse-racing data? I've done some searching but everything seems geared for people who are experts - it's like reading another language. I'd like to just get some of those sheets, preferably with more back performance? Is there a place like that?

A good place to start is Equibase (free to join). You can get daily free past performances (and selections!) for various tracks in the US. For example. today's free premium PP was for Arlington, Race #4. Be sure to check for race day changes (including scratches, equipment changes, etc). They also offer free samples of their various other products. I'm trying a little bit of everything while I learn (handicapping a race a day and test wagering) before I purchase any subscriptions or start a betting account. Good luck to you!

What is incorrect about your Class ranking is the Track these horses ran at. There's a Big difference at horses running at Penn National and that of Gulfstream Park. 1 went off favored and lost to a horse coming off a layoff that you claimed was moving up in class But was he??

There is no reason for me to handicap, because whichever horse I bet to win is more likely to finish second than it is to win. If I bet a four to one shot to win, a thirty to one shot is more likely to win than the four to one shot, and that is a fact.

The favuorite wins approx 30% of the time, and comes second 14% of the time. And that is actually fact. A 30:1 is not more likely to win. Otherwise, horse bettors would be billionaires mate.

Check out Equibase. It holds past horse racing results data. In that race if I have my date right Truc's Love took second place.

Shouldn't jockey competency be given some consideration? Winning jockeys on decent horses = payoffs at the windows. Interesting the the top 3 runners are the best jockeys winning at almost 20%.
