Some ranking magazine rating the best vocalists, putting her at 194, Celine dion not even making the list, so, probably based on anything but actual vocals lol, I don't live in the us so that's my guess. Lists are very often opinion based and not fact based, Kelly can hit almost any note, sing almost every song, very powerful voice, deep and emotional voice, good singing technique, she'd easily be in the top 10 for me but that is because I hear the pain in her voice and feel that, which gives me chills and that is something I really value, music being an emotional expression, that's why lists never make sense it's so personal and subjective lol

That’s a good weaker than when she was young. The emotion’s that drove the original just aren’t there anymore. Makes her money though.

Or she's healed herself so she's singing it from a different place now? Of course it's not going to be exactly the same, she's grown as a person and let go of the hurt that created the song
