Do It Yourself - One of those rare albums where every single track is quality

This, ladies and gentlemen was the first thing I heard when I exited the womb on Wednesday the 28th of May of the year 1997. The greatest guitar riff ever!

I seriously believe that this song's guitar solo is one of the best ever. John Squire is an underrated beast on the guitar.

Class song, class band very overlooked...plus John Squire is a legend, easily one of the best British guitarists in the late 25 years.

Do NOT overlook the quality bass line amongst the greatness of the Squire!! 👌🏻🎸

One of the best things about this version's 4min 23sec jam session at the end is the way Squire hangs a big old lampshade on his Stone Roses days by throwing in the riff from "Love Spreads". Gives me a chuckle every time. As does the fact that the rest of the band finishes up and runs off to catch Chris Helme who had clearly popped off down the pub after singing the last chorus, and just leaves John in his own little world, noodling away alone in the studio oblivious at the end...
