Nakhon Si Thammarat (นครศรีธรรมราช) is both a province and city in Southern Thailand. It’s more of an off the beaten path destination that not a lot of people visit, however I think it’s a wonderful city where you can really get a taste of Thai culture and it has an amazing mixture of incredibly delicious Thai food and attractions that you can do.
In this video I’ll give you a full tour of Nakhon Si Thammarat, we’ll eat at some of the best Thai restaurants in the city and visit some of the most famous attractions all in a single day of food and fun!

BREAKFAST:
Ko Pi (ร้านโกปี๊)
Bak kut teh (บะกุ๊ดเต๋) - pork bone broth for breakfast
Khao man gaeng neau (ข้าวมันแกงเนื้อ) - rice and curry

Wat Phra Mahathat (วัดพระมหาธาตุวรมหาวิหาร) - The most famous temple in all of Nakhon Si Thammarat and it hugely significant across Thailand.

Pla sai tod kamin (ปลาทรายทอดขมิ้น) - sandfish fried with turmeric
