After eating some amazing alligator kebabs and frog legs ( • American Food!! EXOTIC... ), we continued our day trip from Miami with a drive out to the Florida Keys, more specifically Key Largo. What awaited us was some more amazing fresh and local Florida seafood!
Key Largo Fisheries - Key Largo, Florida - First we stopped at Key Largo Fisheries, a wholesale seafood distributor and supplier, but they also have a nice restaurant at the pier. You can buy fresh seafood to go, or sit at the restaurant to eat. We sat at the restaurant and ordered a few dishes including an amazing mixed plates of Yellowtail snapper, Key West Pink Shrimp, and Florida lobster. All the seafood was extraordinarily fresh and delicious.
The Fish House - Key Largo, Florida - Next up on this Key Largo, Florida seafood tour, we stopped at The Fish House to eat, Fried Conch, Smoked Fish Dip, Tuna Nachos, and Stone Crab. The stone crab legs are just amazing, but I also really liked the smoked fish dip and the fried conch here. Nice laid back place, great community feel, and delicious food. For dessert, we could not leave the Florida Keys without key lime pie, and it was fantastic!
It was nice to get out of Miami and see just a little bit of the Florida Keys, and the amazing seafood they have to offer!

Hi Mark My mother passed away 4 days ago She was in the hospital since May 2021 The past 3 weeks, have been difficult for her with sickness and unhappiness However I found your KZfaq channel Bu coincidence, and started showing her your videos on a daily basis We went through your whole trip to both Jordan and Iran As well as clips from Lebanon, Thailand and Eastern Europe It was always the highlight of her day to watch your videos and enjoy your signature move when you roll your head to the side as a mark of food deliciousness This was the last video we saw together I just wanted to tell you thank you so much for helping ease her pain by adding a little joy on her last days I will forever cherish those moments Thank you Mark

I know that fried fish is amazing Mark! I guess thats why your wife is smiling so much behind the camera. Its a classic carribean fried fish recipe made with the local fish. If you are in Carribean or Central American region just ask for fried fish anywhere, everyone has a different touch and most importantly a hot sauce to pair it with. Hope you like the dish! I just manifested this video! I was just telling my son, who was born in Key West, that I wanna visit the Keys, again. That lobster, I was just planning to cook one, too. We used to live in the Florida Keys- 2 years in Key West, 1 year in Big Pine Key, a few months in Islamorada and 3 years in Key Largo. What a beautiful life! I used to buy my fresh seafood at that fisheries, too, just a few minutes away from where we used to live. I miss that one mile stretch and the seven mile bridge in Marathon. That is so beautiful - you get to see the beautiful view of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico ocean. We are definitely going back there. I miss the Keys!!! Up to Florida Keys........🎼🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶Kokomo!

2:27 Wow, they look beautiful. Love the Keys. Wish we had smell-o-vision so we could smell the food too. Next time you're in the Keys, head to Dry Tortugas National Park. It's a great national park with reefs and a 19th century fort

The Fish House...yummmmm. I used to eat there once a week when I had to go down to the keys for work. Also, they can take both stone crab claws if they are big enough. It used to only be one but that law has changed since it was found that they will survive and regrow new claws.

Hooked on Marks videos, especially their trip to South Florida. I have learned about places that I never knew existed and I live here! Lol! Great job overall simply the best!
