Now THIS is why we have YT. I'm glad that this is the Canadian broadcast as well. I remember watching some of this game and feeling so sad to see the Expos go.

i didn’t expect to feel so sad watching this… i was a big mets fan in the 80s and watched the expos a lot.. it’s rare for a team to be lost like this.. at least the Blue Jays are still in Toronto

I wish Nationals Park had more history of the Expos on display. Literally, a small section in the second deck and like two expensive items, a hoodie and shirt was the only merch available.

Wow. Cabrera looks so young. Can't believe he was the last player to hit a home run in Montreal

Damn nearly 20 years. I guess the A’s are the next team to have a game like this later this year.

And this year is their last year in the Oakland Coliseum. I think they’ll then temporarily play at a minor league facility in Sacramento for a couple years ?

Watching this while vacationing in Montreal. Makes me kind of emotional. I wish they were still around.

AS sad as I was about the Expos leaving Montreal, the City of Washington D.C. getting the Nationals was bigtime in my opinion.

Agreed And at least they eventually won it all in 2019, something that they probably would’ve done in ‘94 had the inexcusable strike not happened.

This was very sad to watch - especially hearing that fan talk about being at every game at Olympic Stadium and how this was the worst day of her life.

I wonder in 2022 why the Atheltics aren't on the move with an average attendance of under 6K souls a game .

Why didn’t they just wait until after the season was over to strike? It wouldn’t have pissed off everyone.

Montreal was the first canadian mlb team. At first it was great but soon soured. Everytime the expos were any good the league went on strike. With such great regularity that it had to be planned
