When I heard this trade happened, I was yelling and screaming in joy!! As a Ravens fan, having him join up with PQ, this was a dynamic duo we needed to root the defence. Love this trade!!!

I'm a Bears fan and I was devastated when Roquan was traded. Also, he asked to be traded in August, so saying he was blindsided isn't right lol. But anyways, congrats Ravens, you guys got yourself a top 5 LB.

Queen was not performing as they needed him to as a leader, Hence the reason he did not get the contract offer he thought he would. Smith has changed Queens Trajectory by taking more of the work load and now hes flourishing. Smith is Arguably the second coming of ray Lewis hands down. The whole defense got better because of Smith and we saw that when we got him last season.

Roquan is the "QB" we needed on defense. Like Marlo said, Roquan's the one that's going to lead, get everyone in the right place, and hold every player accountable as far as doing their job.

So was I cuz I followed Smith closely in Chicago but holy shit. The single best mid season acquisition in NFL history. From the day he entered winning drive, the entire defense came back to life. Didn't even take a few weeks. 1 damn game. Smith= BEAST!!

Everyone has off days but marlon is a quality cb , but I do Think Baltimore should start considering the option of drafting a new cb1 to start transitioning Marlon into the cb2 role

Like with marcus peters he was getting smoked ! A lot and gave up on plays a lot , but marlon is almost always up in the WRs face . If I’m Being honest, the only awful game I can recall was vs the bengals during their Super Bowl run year

Im really happy for him that he's happy and doing well but I really can't understand how he can feel "blindsided" if he's the one requesting the trade. I get that he didn't like how things played out in his negotiations but that's also why players often hire an agent. It's probably incredibly difficult to negotiate on your own behalf and experience the business side of things without taking it personal. I would imagine NFL negotiations are purely tied around the dynamic of a team arguing that a player isn't worth a certain number that they'd only be willing give X,Y,Z. It would take a lot of perspective, perception, wisdom and emotional maturity to handle arguing on your own behalf with these teams without getting butt hurt. At the end of the day, im just glad he found a situation he's happy with but I'd be interested to see what his next negotiation looks like. Especially if Baltimore decides to take a hard line with him if they find themselves in a similar situation (which probably isn't likely considering Chicago seems to be a dumpster fire compared to Baltimore as an organization overall....and i say this as a Bears fan)

For all the bad choices that the Bears have made, had they chose not to draft Justin Fields, I was out. They continue to make bad decisions regarding players and I was almost done. Roquan was one of those bad decisions. The Bears need to get it together
