I’ve had an older version of this jacket for a good number of years (at least 10), and I still wear it all the time. The waterproof membrane has pretty much worn off in he shoulders, but it is still ok for a light rain, and the wind resistance works just fine. Love it.

I just had this issue with my Pre-Cip - the membrane wearing off. I sent it into Marmot under warranty repair. They couldn't fix it but gave me credit for a brand new one! Amazing customer service.

Have you guys tried reapplying / reactivating the waterproof coating with waterproofing spray, etc.? It's normal for rain jackets and tents to lose their waterproof coating overtime, so reactivating it with spray, hairdryer, etc. is like a normal maintenance. Right?

It's actually a great ultralight jacket. If you're careful it can be extremely durable. Lasting years. Fall over in it though and it's going to rip.

Is this the Artic Navy color? The photos online makes it look more light blue but on this video it's very nice so I hope this is how it looks irl. Edit: It looks almost the same as in the video. The color of the logo is the same color as the jacket on mine.
