Chris (or Tristan or whomever), Have you heard this group, "Groove for Thought"? They kind of reminded me of the HI-LOs with that super accurate timing/voicing etc that makes three to six voices sound like one. I thought the slide they do in harmony was pretty cool as well, and they've got an Elliot kind of smooth bass you might enjoy: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nJqlpqZ72MWdo2w.html Anyway, the point I wanted to make (FINALLY, right?) is that they did a rehearsal video of a piece they'd worked separately, but not together until the vid, and showed how they tweaked and worked parts of it into something they liked. I thought it was a cool idea, and an idea you guys and gals might want to consider doing. I would be interested in seeing it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
