WALLACE CHUNG so versatile actor. Can switch from one role to another. Very expressive in acting. FEELS what he is portraying yet really enjoys his craft. His leading ladies get inspired ( I observe ) and they are good actresses at that. W Chung should shoot films WITH very good actresses SO movie or TV series will be excellent not to say script director , thank you

It truly is...they've been through so much together. Shiyi having to deal with his toxic family. It's so good to see them happy and working together. It's also good to see her finally being accepted by her family...well everyone except his mother.

I'm really enjoying these precious moments with Lingyi/Shiyi. It's so good to see his playful side but he wasn't joking...He wants her to have lots of babies...lol It's hard to believe that this is the same man because in the beginning with his late wife he was so miserable/he hardly ever came home. He was always guarding the capitol/he hardly ever went home to visit his wife/concubines. He always looked miserable/like home was the last place he wanted to be. Now he's all smiles/joking with Shiyi. He's definitely changed for the better....even his family sees the changes in him since marrying Shiyi. It's really good to see how far Shiyi/Danyang have come in their relationship. She looked down on Shiyi for so long/treated her like crap but Shiyi never failed to guide her. Now they're the best of friends/it's beautiful to see. I have to admit that I wasn't a fan of Danyang until she smacked the hell out of Lianfang...lol Lianfang was willing to risk her unborn child just to get rid of Shiyi. I was so happy when Danyang figured out that Shiyi had a good heart. I think this was the turning point for their relationship. Shiyi risked her own safety to safeguard Danyang/her unborn child. It took a while for Danyang to come around but I'm glad she did...because Shiyi needs all the support she can get dealing with the GM.

With the right woman by your side, a man's real personality will flourish. Shiyi was intelligent, and gentle also, she wasn't afraid to speak her mind to her husband. They were of one mind as time went by and the Marquis realized her worth to the family and more important to him.

@@Skydancer263I agree. the biggest gift that she gave Lingyi was understanding. She took out the time to get to know him. His mother and concubines didn't know the first thing about him...and they were with him for a long time. Shiyi got to know him within a matter of months...she gave him exactly what he needed.
