This is a very special episode, as I am joined by my husband, Russell Westbrook! He’s my best friend, life partner, and the number one dad in the wild Westbrook household, and today we’re going to give you an inside look into our relationship.
Join us for the Season Finale as we talk about how we met, what we’re like behind closed doors, how we parent our children, and so much more. I’m so excited to be sharing this exclusive look at our beautifully organized, chaotic lives.

When I worked a preseason game for the Timberwolves, at the end of half time, OKC was leaving the visitor’s locker room and headed to the court. I was in the tunnel near the court. Russ, who was and still is one of my favorite players walked past me. Now, there was a policy for the Timberwolves that we, employees, are not to talk to the players even if they initiate it. However, I was so star struck and the words, “yo, what up Russ,” just slipped out of my mouth. I believe Russ knew it was genuine. Russell turned back, smiled, gave me the head nod, and said, “what’s happening baby!?” I had a lot of fun memories but that’s my favorite when I’m worked for the Wolves. Go Russell! I hope you get your ring this year with the Clippers. You already have the most important one with Nina! ❤

He surprised me too, and I was impressed by the humble way in which he let his wife lead and really tried to add value to the conversation. This **unrandomly** showed up recommended for me. They are such a breath of fresh air! I like their dynamic. (They look like siblings.) Thanks for sharing! May God continue to bless you, your marriage, your children, your ministries (incl. this podcast) and so much more! In Jesus' name. @14:31 - This "difference" in "versions" of intimacy (i.e., love languages) is exactly what Laterras R. Whitfield of Dear Future Wifey said broke up his marriage in his recent podcast with Hardly Initiated. It's commendable that you two know how to successfully navigate this difference. This just confirms that someone with physical touch as their love language doesn't always have to get that need fulfilled by sex because it includes all kinds of touch.

when it’s someone new, he doesn’t really open up and seems like an a hole but if ur kind and Genuine to him he’s such a nice guy. I’ve heard so many stories about Russ where if u come up to him when he’s busy he doesn’t like that. But there was one time when he was eating in a restaurant with Nina in okc and no one bothered him he went up to everyone after and talked and took pics.

Loved the conversation, this is a beautiful couple! Blessings to you both. I have a different perspective of Russell now. He is a great DUDE as BBall players described.
