Maybe I am missing something here - Stacey knew Drew was married, went ahead with him anyway and taunted Kathleen repeatedly, and to top it off knew Drew killed Kathleen but never came forward and still stayed with him, even providing an alibi. Also, there are domestic violence cases more blatant than this and they get away with it because the courts don't allow hearsay. If you are going to permit it with one case it needs to be allowed in every case because it isn't fair to the victims.

Drew Peterson’s young wife was killed in 2001. Scott Peterson’s wife was found dead, washed ashore in April 2001, four months after she was murdered. Michael Peterson’s wife was found dead at the bottom of stairs, in 2007. Three Peterson men, guilty of killing their wives in a matter of seven years. All three, were cruel, and deceitful. They thought they’d get away w/it. Thankfully they didn’t. A man who kills his wife instead of divorcing her thinks w/out empathy- choosing to kill a woman who has every right to life as the cheating husband does. A man who can do that deserves to be in prison. To think of finances over the life of your wife. Wicked.

What an idiot! he had four good women for wives, FOUR! and yet he pushed them away, threw them away and killed them. What could possibly be so wrong in his head that this is ok? Many people don't ever meet one good and loving partner in life, and would do anything to be able to have someone to love, and who loves them. Let this be a lesson to single people - better to be alone and ok, than to give that up and be sucked into the evil schemes of such a disordererd personality.

And at the trial he could afford to hire a “dream team” of lawyers. Did he get the contact from the drug cartel he and his colleagues were in business with? Seems to me that the investigation focused on him and carefully avoided looking at his “career” in the police.

I wonder what life events and/ or genetic predisposition made this malignant narcisist this way. Not as an excuse but to learn from this case. From what we see here: it must have something to do with the father, the time in the army , I suspect some kind of undiagnosed brain damage, too... its often more simple that we all think..what I find very shocking on top is the disrespect and mysoginy reg. missing Stacy by Peterson defenders ( where they high on something, what kind of bizarre behaviour is this?) and reg. the dead third wife by his police office colleagues. who could not care less to collect evidence... shame on you!
