Good, quick, interview. There is no way for anyone to understand what the life of these people is like. She couldn't explain, and neither could he, what happens when your entire existence is based on what others perceive what your life is. No matter what they say, there is someone misunderstanding or interpreting it. The price for this level of stardom is heavy! If you like the music, either his or hers or both, THAT IS ENOUGH!

Patti is a good and lovely lady with a great singing voice. I'm 54 now, looking to this vid. Saw a young Patti. She was beautiful back then. Plastic surgery is not keeping her face young, it's making her less beautiful. It's not bad to get a small wrinkle here and there because every small wrinkle is telling it's own story. All the surgery faces a looking alike in the US. I am glad that she didn't had her lipps filled up with fillers as so many women did and still do. It's so ugly. Patti, just be your beautiful self, we all are getting older, it's okay. Not one woman on earth doesn't have a small wrinkle around the eyes, or forehead or where ever at the age of 54. Dying hair and some natural make up is enough to still look beautiful because beauty is comming from the inside. Shining and glowing with a happy soul makes ppl beautiful IMHO, not plastic surgery.

The point is, in love, mistakes are inevitable. If you truly love someone, you forgive and don't let it ruin the love you have for someone. Don't judge on the mistakes Bruce made when he was younger, focus on the look in his eye when he's looking at Patti. That should be more than enough explanation. I really hope to love the way Bruce and Patti do one day, and though it won't be for a while, love takes patients. So I'll gladly wait, and know one day about ten years from now it will be worth it.

Patti is a successful singer/songwriter all on her own, even before becoming a member of the E Street Band. Very few can achieve the success that Bruce has that doesn't lessen their own talents any. Nils Lofgren and Miami Steve (Little Steven) both had successes on their own and both have a home as E Streeters that in no way diminishes their solo work. Much of Bruce's talent is not just his song writing but the talent he brings in to join him. Where would he have been if Scooter didn't have the Big Man? The often heart rending piano of Professor Roy Bittan, Mighty Max on the drums and the always stoic Gary Tallant on bass. Give "Red" her props the Boss always does.

I wish they had kept on doing "A Town Called Heartbreak" on the Magic tour and/ or others from her then-new album or older.

Patti has Scot-Irish ancestry. She is the underdog and I support her. Working class proletariat.

Patti and Bruce got together somewhere in the aftermath of his marriage to Julie. Seems obvious to me that Bruce is letting his wife has some limelight as a reward for supporting him in the ways he needed. They've lasted 25+ years... that's nothing to sneer at. Bruce could have anything he wants -- I'd say it's safe to assume she's what he wants. Would you not do the same for your love? I wouldn't read too much into it. Looks like simple love to me, that's all.
