Күн бұрынUnboxing and installing the Marsblade I2 Ice Hockey holder with Flow Motion technology. These holders are deceiving, as they do not look like the mount in the Bauer/CCM mounting hole, but in the end they do with a little help.

Hey a quick question for anyone, I'm an inline skater but I thr more traditional 4x80 mm non rockered solid frame, SEBA freestyle skates. Not at all hockey blades. I used to play hockey though. I was just curious the learning curve with these? Is it hard to learn to get used to? As relative beginner?

It would be a slight learning curve. With the all 80mm you’re pushing from your heels. These would allow you to push like you’re walking, through your toes. It would feel strange for a few laps, and then like you’ve been doing it for your whole life.

Hi Joe, what do you do if the new drilled holes are too close to the original holes? in my case, half of the new holes are too close to the original holes and I'm afraid the rivets will tear. Marsblade inline chassis on a bauer vapor xr300 inline skate.

I would fill the original holes with a plastic bonding putty. We use JB Weld in a few different formulas depending on the type of boot material. I would tape the holes on the inside of the boot, and apply the putty to fill the holes from the outside. Let it set, sand, and drill new holes

We did the install for a customer. We haven't gotten to try a pair of our own yet.

They're nice. i definitely notice them in the crossovers. feel more planted. just trying the different inserts to see which i like best.
