San Diego State's Marshall Faulk runs for 220 yards -with 22 receiving- and three touchdowns in SDSU's wild season-opening 31-31 tie vs. USC in 1992. Faulk would go on to finish second in Heisman voting that season. #RBRespectMonth

I was at that game. What an atmosphere! Lots of players from both sides went on to play in the NFL.

Running, receiving, blocking, durability, holding onto the ball…top three RB in NFL history. No doubt.

This guy was my idol. I love me some Marshall Faulk. He only went to SDSU because they were the only school that wanted him as a running back. If he was better as a cornerback than a running back, god damn. Legend.

For those who may not know, that's Sean Payton at 6:16. He was the running bank coach.

In todays transfer portal world it kinda sucks that he would most likely have transferred out. Stops these smaller schools from keeping these diamond in the rough generational talents

Nah, only players you see transfer are players following some coach or some back ups that don't get playing time SDSU alumni would've paid him big to stay in Southern California

And we thought last year’s SC defense was bad? The 90’s produced some really horrible defenses by the Trojans. Thankfully, Pete Carroll turned things around in the early 2000’s. Fight On!✌️

Yeah, USC wasn't shit during the early 90's. All that talent to go 8-5 year in and out.
