The music awards line is a reference to when he had his iconic performance at the EmTV music awards , he performed The Real Slim Shady, and they line where he mentioned sitting next to Carson Daily and Fred Durst. He dapped Carson but Fred was sitting directly behind Carson and extended his hand but Em looked at him and ignored him and kept it moving. They both had aisle seats so it's not like it could have been an accident by Em to miss Fred reaching out.

I remember watching Em at MTV Music Awards perform "The Real Slim Shady" & I was confused because he didn't mention Fred during the performance where he was supposed to... then I heard this song & was like damnnnn, TALK YO SHIT EM!!!!

The line "that wasn't an accident, I didn't mean to give you a play at the music awards" was a reference to the time em performed the real slim shady live at the MTV awards. The part where he says "So I can sit next to Carson Daly and Fred Durst" he walked up and shook Carson Daly's Hand but left Fred hanging.
