Dude, you're right! That beat is horrendous but suddenly Em just starts laying punches into raw meat and it becomes one of the funniest songs I've ever heard. The bass player in my old band played this for me in my car when it came out, I damn near passed out!

The ultimate diss is that Em didn't even think Canibus was worth an entire diss song, so he threw in Dre's beef with Jermaine to make it worth the effort. Love it.

I really thought i'd heard everything eminem ever put out but this is a first for me.

For those who don't know this beef all started because LL Cool J told canibus he didn't like his verse on a song they was put on together, he told him he has to come harder than what he did. Then canibus went out a got a tat just like LL's on his shoulder of 2 microphones so boom that started a beef between them. Canibus has said he felt like Eminem wrote LL's diss towards him for him.

Canibus thought Eminem's song "Stan" was about him and in Stan it was about an obsessed going from sending fan letters to letters filled with obsessive hate

The Canibus song here is doo doo but Eminem's song was actually a response to another Canibus song called "U Didn't Care". Basically a concept song of what happens to Stan after the end of Eminem's original Stan song. There's also a skit just before the song called "Stan Lives" where Canibus is hanging out with his buddies and he witnesses Stan driving over the cliff and and he goes to save him. Probably not worth checking out but it's definitely better than this Canibus song. Also, when Eminem asks what happened to Canibus's style... he's referring to the raspy hard voice that Canibus uses because on the album with those tracks he uses his regular voice to rap and it doesn't sound nearly as good.

I hated how he attacked his baby momma, his mom, everyone. I thought he attacked them (and everyone) just to get on. Those feelings got stronger through the years with every album, if I'm being honest. But I added he had a dope flow and great rhyme scheme. But still... I had haterade! I never watched 8 mile until this year! 2023! From me, a 48 year old, never wanting to rap, white guy that grew up hanging out in the hood. Maybe, deep down, I didn't want to be disappointed by yet another "wannabe white rapper ". Well, a friend kept telling me Em was, is, and will always be the Billy goat. My friend didn't force feed it to me though. Through the years, I heard more and more of Em's diss tracks. Another friend turned me on to "Rap God" and we got BAKED listening to it on repeat for like an hour. Rinse and repeat... over and over and over and... I told myself "he called himself the goat... i HAVE to hear everything". My top 10 always included in NO particular order (it gets crowded too quick, so I always went to 20 and tried to subtract, but many I couldn't remove from the top 20) Pac, Nas, Biggie, Canibus, Bustah, Jadakiss, Meth, Raekwon, Ghost, Game, Rakim... you get the picture. That top 20 gets crowded QUICK! Em eliminated a few of those from not only my top 20, but maybe my top 50. I've gotta say, I was wrong! I apologize! Until Eminem is DETHRONED by his own admission, he'll be the #1. I was the anti-stan. I just didn't wanna give him his due respect. He forced it and the championship title. And then? He takes on ALL contenders in his weight class! He even ended careers, as he should've, for many a challenge who never earned the right to get in the verbal ring with him. None of this even goes into his Word play, bars within bars, killshots within killshots and splattershots for the crews of those that claimed to be the best that he knocked off with fully automatic napalm shotgun shells with nuclear tips. There's a reason the self proclaimed goats NEVER mention his name and would rather just do a collab, make a quick mill or 2, and be thankful. To clarify, I still have Jada, WU, Nas, Bustah, and Rakim in my top 20, quite possibly top 10. Of course, RIP to Pac, Biggie, ODB, and many many more that died long before their time. As mentioned, that top 20 gets filled QUICK, but as a Hip-Hop ARTIST?! None can touch Em. As a rapper, ripper, or reaper, none can hold Em's mic. Can-i-bus retired LL. Em bodied everyone Canibus bodied x 10000000. Conclusion? Can I make a request? If Em is #1, can we have a dream match? Em against #1, 2, 3, 4, AND 5?! Blast Master should be in EVERYONE'S top 5 without HESITATION! I'd love to see those 2 battle... I doubt it would ever happen, but, if it did, I'll pay to see it live! What a battle that would be. I think Eminem is the ONLY one that is in KRS's weight class. Peace to the HipHopHeadz! Keep doin what you do, Mr. Knight. You're amazing God sir!
