Күн бұрынBefore Sonos, Apple and even Bose's brand of speakers, there was Marshall, which originated in England and was literally behind the most famous guitar players of today, all thanks to the amps that it was producing. Jim Marshall - the creator of Marshall was an English businessman who happened to change and shape the rock music industry over the last 50 years. Most people know him as the Father of Loud or the creator of the Marshall Brand.
Aside from being the loudest sounding amps that were absolutely blowing away the competition and every single audience no matter how big, Marshall was associated with a very specific sound and distortion.
Grasping all of Marshall's history and examining its traits, we look at this Woburn home speaker knowing it is the most prominent Bluetooth speaker that the company has to offer, and suddenly there's some serious respect in the air.
Just like in the past, even though the volume goes to 10 (not 11) 99% of the time I keep it at one or two at the most.
This 18lbs Bluetooth speaker is so loud that if I turn it to 5, I can no longer hear my thoughts.
Let me point out that this is not a studio monitor. You cannot expect the cleanest, most accurate sound, and frankly, you shouldn't. All to the contrary, this is a Marshall, and it sounds exactly like one - loud and earth shattering!

i bought woburn 2 and it was fine for 2 months sudenly stops playing music and still cant connect it i have a Samsung note phone and plugged with the cord and nothing downloaded the marshall app and dont do nothing still freezes so i connect it with the cord and its mute works with all except the woburn doesn't play need help

I would like to see a comparison this with the Sonos play 5. Play different genres and compare sound quality and bass and loudness... Where i leave they don't have any Sonos. Ive listen to the woburn and it is loud!

Just Got this cheap from a shop.. last in Stock New model out now. Never wanted to spend the money on One but 1\4 price i had too. It can Play so laud on max that i almost fear it will break. Not to mention my ears. I play it on max 4 or 5. Had no idea it was that brutal.. I wonder how long it will Hold up?? Great test video sir...

Does this speaker allow me to play my favorite backing tracks off KZfaq? Just after the audio steam, obviously. I'm wondering if the video steam disturbs the audio signal in any way.

Great video! Thank you for the great history of the brand. I'm debating on this one and Stanmore II. However, the price is so steep. But, hey you pay for what get ! I love the vintage design! It's absolutely beautiful! The thing i don't like about speakers in general is that they are, just so damn ugly to me.( My opinion) The Marshall brand in general scream out. "Look at me!"

Not out of the box. You'll need some sort of guitar/headphone (3.5mm) amp. I checked on Amazon and they are quite inexpensive. From what I was able to find out a lot of people use it like this.

Hi Reinhard, thanks for your comment. I can’t really help you with that question since I’ve never had the chance to test the JBL. What I can tell you for sure is that past level 6 you can barely stand right next to it 😊

Marshall Stanmore 1st generations have an issue with their power board which stems from that "tactile" on/off switch. I spent $400 on mine and the POS broke in 2 years. iFixit has threads about this. Looks aren't everything. I'd go with Bose, JBL or Sonos.

I really don't like the design of the JBL. It is indeed a decent speaker, but I'd always choose the Marshall over the JBL.
