1 is the best sounding👍. It’s got a forward & sparkly treble that 2 & 3 lack. 2 sounds veiled and flat, simply non engaging, the worst of the three. 3 has a digital sound to it. It’s the clearest of all, but lack the smooth and warm tone of 1. I will pick 1 which is the most transparent of the three, has a warm natural timbre and a nice airy treble🥰. Simply divine.😇😘🥰

Model 1 gives the most Marshall sound.

Model 2 feels the most vintage. The others are more generic. Everyone’s ear is different. 2 also has better instrumental separation and a cleaner soundstage.

@@dociebiemowie915 3 blows 2 away when it comes to separation and soundstage. 3 has tweeters, mid range, and Bass to separate the music which 2 does not. 2 is actually the worst sounding of the 3 speakers.

@@robertcorona3362Disagree since I own the gen 1 and 2 and they are both broken in. I barely even use the gen 1 anymore. It’s way too bright even when it doesn’t want to be. Plus the gen 2 has better build quality having more metal parts.. sounds like a vintage Marshall-head instead of your typical good Bluetooth speaker at a Best Buy. The second generation Woburn comes with a frequency range of 30Hz - 20kHz and offers two 50-watt class D amps for the woofer as well as two 15-watt amps for the tweeters. Also, when it comes to the 2 vs 3, the 2 can reach 110 decibels while the 3 can get to 100.5. To my ears.. a fully broken in gen 2 is where it’s at for that true Marshall vintage sound but everyone’s preference is different. I just love the gen 2. Fender makes some decent bluetooth speakers as well. Probably not as popular as the Marshall at this point but if I wanted more of a bright sound as opposed to vintage.. I would go with the Monterey.. it’s pretty solid.

@@devilzdandruff9199 Hmmm Interesting. I wonder why the 2 gets a lot of bad reviews then. I guess it's a matter of taste. To me the 3 just has a bigger soundstage and is crisper and clearer. It's the only one that has separate tweeters, mid range, and woofer. When you get in the 100 decibel range does it really matter if one can get a little louder. They both blow the doors off.

All three are excellent speakers from Marshall. Trying to compare keeping the same treble and bass for all three speakers is misleading.

1 is powerfull bus a bit more raw than the other two. Woburn II has the deepest base of them all (100W vs 90W of the W3) bus the W3 has a bit sharper highs and vocals. If you like pop the 3 is better bua if you like hearing all types of music the 2 is the best one overall and also you can find it arround 400€/$ online which is 200€/$ cheaper than the 3.

i think you should compare guitar sounds. these are made for it :) frequences of guitar bass /bass guitar. for your choice of music you could compare jbl, sonos, etc. :)

It's silly to compare them using same settings. The speakers have different response ranges, so if you adjust the bass and equalizer individually, they will all sound identical. Keeping both on same setting is not a good way to compare. Bass and treble for each speaker should each be set by ear till they sound the same and I bet blindfolded you absolutely can't make out which is which.

เสียงดีมากๆทั้ง 3 ตัวเลย แต่แหลม W1 จัดจ้านชัดเจน มีแสบหูนิดๆ W2 แหลมน้อยกว่า กลางหลบกว่า เนสดีกว่า W1 ส่วน W3 ผมว่า Balance ดีกว่าตัว 2 เสียงกลางใกล้เคียงตัว2 แหลมอยู่ตรงกลางระว่าง 1กับ2

Out of the 3 the only one that actually sounds “worse” is the OG Woburn. The II doesn’t necessarily sound worse than the III, it just sounds a bit different. The II has a fuller richer base, while the III has crisper clearer mids & highs. Ultimately it’s all what sounds better to you. I currently have the Woburn II hooked up to my Project Debut Carbon Evo turntable & couldn’t be happier!

Woburn 1 sound is the best as I feel due to the balanced sound curve felt. Woburn 2 is having poor mid frequency projection. Woburn 3 is far better than Woburn 2 in terms of the technology but not as feel good balanced clean sound as Woburn 1

Why does the Stanmore 2 say on the website it goes to 30 Hz, and the Stanmore 3 only to 35Hz, but the bass sounds deeper on the Stanmore 3?

Stanmore 2 low response is 50Hz, and Stanmore 3 is 45Hz - so it will be slightly deeper than Stanmore 2 The Woburn 2 is 30Hz - which is deeper than Woburn 3 at 35Hz

Woburn 2 sound fractionally better than the W3 as the W3 is focused more marginally to high on the high end other than that the W2 & W3 are on par with each other. Would be interesting to see how W3 fair through the TV as a sound bar replacement?

Listen to them live and they both sound A-mazing. Woburn 2 low range is actually rated at 30Hz compared to Woburn 3 35Hz - giving Woburn 2 a deeper boom. And if you boost the treble on 2 and keep it higher than Woburn 3, both will sound identical.

Manufacturers release new versions with minimal changes to actual sound system. Coz frankly there is not much one can improve in speaker technology which has been refined since the 1920s. All they do is improve the chipsets for bluetooth etc, while keeping the speakers almost identical... and then they raise prices by 100s of $$ for the newer version.

l bought the 1 for 500€ in 2018. all 3 are excellent speakers. blindfolded you can’t even tell them apart. only thing i’m missing is an app for it like the 3 has but not worth upgrading for me either

Woburn 2 low frequency limit is rated at 30Hz compared to Woburn 3 35Hz - giving Woburn 2 a deeper boom. If you keep both at same setting, then Woburn 2 will thump more... So all you need to do is boost the treble of Woburn 2 to make it sound as clear as the 3
