I mean yeah, imagine if someone who uses zss as a for fun/tertiary character took a bunch of games off marss in the ditto. The second best zss main arguably couldn't do that.

@@JoeyratatouilleI see what you’re saying but dk as a character is much more simple and less precise than zss. It would be incredibly more impressive if someone took a game off Marss zss without training her extensively because the only way to get to Marss level is to train extensively. You could become a proficient dk rather quickly if you’re already really good at the game and understand it well.

You can really see the interaction between how Marss is a better player, and Chunky has a more hyper optimized DK. If one monkey contained both powers, DK could win a major

He has played this character for a while now, but the main reason why he was able to keep up so well is just because he is the better player, he copied and executed chunky’s strategies plus the tech stuff right after seeing it once or twice and if not, he would quickly learn how to not get hit by something chunky would do (set ups and stuff) insanly fast, ive been to chunky’s streams and he’s legit practicing this stuff for hours on end to insane levels of depth and still marss cut just adapt out play and outright just copy his shit right after, its cool and sad at the same time it just shows how important talent is when it comes to competition, still glad chunky won, cause the hard work put in on his main has been ridiculous

Ok Marss, now we need a FT10 with you and Noodl in the DK ditto. While Chunky has the results to back up his #1 DK spot, Noodl is the #1 DK with SAUCE! (Not that sauce always brings the W's). I think many of us would love to see you do a FT10 with Noodl and then a reaction on who you think was harder to play in the ditto. I've got Noodl winning 10-4!!!!!

Very good and entertaining games. I feel like you should try to juggle him with up air more. I think a lot of the time you were letting him land and trying to punish the landing instead of going for the juggle.

@@bravo2675 k bro. Yes, their game plan is always 100 percent perfect & can never be improved upon. Pro players typically have coaches. Not saying I’m qualified to be his coach, but I’ve spent A LOT of time playing & watching this game, so I do know a thing or two.

Tell me why the character that literally has the worst time landing on stage in the entire game should not be challenged when landing against the character with a really solid up air like DKs. The juggle should be the go to, and the landing punish should be the mix up. Chunkykong was up airing more often, and he was getting way more out of those advantage/disadvantage situations.

@@Corbinwhite12 In a situation where you know your opponent is out of resources sure. Juggle could be a viable option. If they still have resources, you're looking at a best-case frame trap situation against the character with one of the worst dis-advantage states in the game. Letting them get back to neutral for basically free isn't a great choice when you could just extend your advantage state with safer options. Hence 85% of the up airs we have seen in the matchup was from cargo throw combo. Edit: one more reason I didn't include was some of it was map choice based as well. On stages that were friendly for platform cargo throw kills, ideally you want them in that 80-95~(not exact I don't main dk) range for the combo to remain true for the confirm. where on maps like FD getting upair juggles for extra % isn't as bad.
