I can relate. I never got an affinity for cooking or baking but I enjoy this. It's almost like watching Mom make things in the kitchen ... if Mom was Martha. These shows are relaxing in a way-- except for the electric mixer noises, haha.

I have only one arm so using an egg separator is out of the question. I found the water bottle trick on KZfaq and I am thrilled. My favorite cake is chocolate with cream cheese frosting. That’s an incredible recipe! Thanks

Wow ! The inside of Martha Stewart's oven looks like the inside of my oven and every other REAL home cook's oven! Light grease spatters in the back oven wall means she really does use it and its not just for show! I hate phony content creators who pop their creations in spotless shiny brand new ovens that you KNOW isn't really turned on, its just to video tape the scene while the real baking and roasting occurs in another oven off camera! All of these cake recipes are easy and practical, and no fuss! and all so delicious!

Hi Martha, really impressed by simple ways that u teach us to make variety of cakes..just wanna ask how do u make butter milk as it's traditionally made in South East Asia by churning whole milk yogurt n then butter is removed frm it, the left over liquid is buttermilk called "lassi" here. Is it the same thing that u use in your recipes?

I've made cheesecakes for years and have not needed a water bath to prevent cracking. Surprised that she was able to fit 56 oz of cream cheese into a 10 inch pan. Mine holds 48 oz right to the top and that’s without the sour cream she included. 🤔

If u can't go vegan maybe simultaneously you could say if you are vegan u can use soy milk and vegan sugar, vegan butter and applesauce as a binder instead of eggs this way you can have everyone tuning in not just non vegans!
