Pretty close to what I thought about the adventure, a lot of neat elements that are good to mine, but ran out of the box could be a little strange. Scenario spoilers: Gaius being an unarmed fighter with a western chivalric knight aesthetic is a strange choice to me, while I can somewhat see where it comes from, managing expectations for those expecting gothic and melodramatic elements, perhaps implicitly by the title of Blood Knight Gaius, could be helpful, perhaps by giving the monastery setting a bit more explicitly eastern, perhaps shaolin elements or aesthetics.

Hey there, WasabiBurger! A question not related to the topic of this video. I'm looking for good level 3 DCC adventure for DMing. We're finishing Fate's Fell Hand, which was a real pain in my ass tbh, had to do a lot of tweaks to keep players engaged. It was hard for both me and players, and I want the next adventure to be more of the Dungeon Crawl, easier one if you can say so. Originally, I planned to go for Jewels of the Carnifex, but since I watched your video review of it (part of People of the Pit video), I'm not quite sure I want to give a really punishing dungeon. Could you please recommend anything suitable? Dungeon crawl, easy-middle difficulty. I would really appreciate it.

Oh man, Fate's Fell Hand. You're hardcore for running that one. I own that and saw the stuff involved in it and I was like "This is really cool but I am out. This is too much." So, off the top of my head there's Yddgrrl's Maze which is level 3 and that comes in the some printings of the core book and that one is decent. There's also the Sea Queen Escapes at level 3 that I thought was pretty fun for a sea adventure. But there aren't that many amazing level 3 adventures cuz there are less level 3 ones than there are Levels 1 & 2. Honestly, it depends a bit on what kind of tone and content you want for your game. In my opinion, there are a lot of level 1 & 2 adventures that are really good and it isn't hard to bump them up. I don't know how comfortable you are with freestyling encounters but a lot of them you could either bump the numbers up or bloat the HP a bit just to make them slightly more resilient and I have done that for higher level parties with 100% success. I'll just recommend some of my review videos that I think at the very least could be of interest so that you have something to look at other than just a store page and my word for it haha I love DCC Lankhmar adventures because I think they are really well made and have a lot of thought put into them for making them exciting. I recommend my 3 Lankhmar adventure video because I think Grave Matters would be a really fun game for some level 3s. Also Lankhmar modules have adjustments for each combat encounter for bigger groups which may be useful for you doing a higher level game. As for normal DCC adventures, Shadow of the Beakmen could easily, easily be bumped up and other than the rough start, I think is such a solid dungeon crawl. I'd also recommend The Corpse That Love Built since that is a spooky one and it is Halloween season and also Moon Slaves of the Cannibal Kingdom if you do more with the hexcrawl in that one than I did in the AP. You could use the encounter table or throw in your own fun stuff to keep it level appropriate. I've already written so much so if I think of anything else I'll let you know but I don't want to overwhelm you so I hope that helps!!!

@@wasabiburger3047 Thank you for an extensive reply! I really appreciate your effort. My Core Rulebook version has the Yggddrl's Maze adventure! Actually, it is a lvl 2 adventure, and at first I was hesitant about DMing it, cuz we should be hitting lvl 3 tomorrow with the end of FFH. But after your comment I checked encounters again, and it seems really easy to bump it up. An extra orc here, a little bit more HP for a spider there, simple and efficient. I think I will give it a try. Travelling and hexcrawl are great and I would like to give it a try one day, but it seems a little bit overwhelming for me at the moment, I'll check other adventures as well. Sea Queen adventure sounds interesting.

@@user-vy1jo5nt2x For sure, dude :) Always happy to help when I am able to do so! And yeah take it all one step at a time, hexcrawls can be a bit much but if you ever do one, that adventure is great because it is a pretty small one so it's not a bad one to cut your teeth on! And if you make it too hard where you have too many orcs or anything like that, you can always just have the next hit from a player take them down :D Best of luck in your GMing adventures!!
