Tuned a step & half down Db. (I guess D wasn't low enough. Heavy Metal on a Martin?)

Elixir strings problem ,I had same fuzzy problem after years of good service up to 6 months per set.I emailed them about the problem and they did send me a new set. It's only the polyweb.somethings changed they know it I watch all your videos randy,we have similar beliefs. Keep on.A fellow picker and mechanic.

I know the feeling, I'm gray too lol. I ordered more CA Glue as well. Should have been here last Friday. Don't know why the mail is going back to the way it was when everything was shutting down. Taper gauge.... I have to get me one. It's hot here in IL. too. Stay cool man.

Randy, so much for Martins quality.... I'll stick to my "cheaper " old Gibson & my Yamaha guitars . I don't seem to have those kind of issues with those ! Is that what steak looks like? I forgot ! Haven't had any in a long time ! More like hot dogs now... and an occasional hamburger. ! Thanks Randy !

That one is a beauty Randy, I hope the owner lets you set it up. I can't wait to see how you fix the binding, because my son's is coming loose just barely at the waist in a spot. I have put it off and afraid to use that CA glue on it because it is a high end guitar and I don't want to screw up the finish or the pearl purfling that runs next to it. So I am looking for something that will clean up well, water cleanup I hope. Somebody told me super phatic or canopy glue is good for that, I'm still on the fence. I have glued bindings before with CA glue, but on a much cheaper guitar and no pearl. Also pull my steak off the grill bruh, you are over cooking it. I like mine medium.

I had same problem on my J40m with the binding…but those J 40m’s are banjo killers….I think mine is a 87…

What is it with Martins and loose binding? Seems really prevalent with them. As a matter of fact, I just had binding fixed on my HD28

I knew this old Hillbilly from W.V he had a beard so thick the birds started build a nest in his beard . He really put a plastic bird & nest in his beard and walk around Town with it ! Happy BQ DAY Y'ALL
