Dr. Martin was most definitely a modern day prophet. Like the prophets of the old he was rejected by men, misunderstood and even ostracized by associates within his own organization. Guess there Judas's all around us. This brother could have held public office or even could have been a mega church pastor, professor or anything. But he chose to do God's will, sacrificing it all. Even into his death. To say I appreciate this brother would be an understatement. Bless you Bro. KING and may God please your seed that is still here with us.🙏🏾

This is my first time hearing this particular sermon from the Great Reverend. This sermon is so relevant to all of us. I live his transparency and his ingenious way he articulates the journey that we all travel in life. God Bless Dr. Martin Luther King! 🙏🏾

I once heard a story about a DJ who decided to play a passage from on of the Doctor's speeches in the middle of his set. The crowd stopped, listened and then applauded. MLK could move an audience to a higher moral stance and deserves to be remembered and loved by all who claim to care about the world we live in.

One reason I so love this Baptist preacher is that he was imperfect. When people bring up his affairs and such I just smile and say that God is glorified in His saints, and all those saints have many imperfections.

If affairs are true..Folk throwing the affair stones at him don't know behind closed doors.. if Martin went down on his knees, and repented from his heart to God, for affair ,and asked God for forgiveness.. From the bible Look at David's track record.. But David always repented from the heart to God for forgiveness.. God forgave David.. Only God knows the heart and mind of man and judge righteously.. Oh and God found favor in David.. David was a man after God's on heart.. God is just to forgive but many man will forever hold your pass wrong doing over you..

This sermon makes you look at yourself and just cry. I want to be right. I want my children and grandchildren to be in heaven with me. Loving Jesus is a heart condition man can't see. God judges on your heart. Martin you had a good heart. See you in glory ❤.

No he wasn’t shot in the hospital. He was shot on a balcony of a motel.

He says I have a dream multiple time in the speech. I get not knowing specific quotes, but at least knowing the jist of it is important. One of them( dont know the exact wording) is about dreaming that his children would someday live in a nation where they are judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Well, I saw some argument in the comments section (but I am not directly feeding the trolls today) about why someone thought Martin Luther King wasn't that Godly and brought up doubts of things I've heard he had, at least at one point in his life. Yeah, being a Christian can be a struggle and Martin Luther King clearly had an extra set of struggles. So, yes, he can still be a Godly man.

I might not as yet agree with CRT, depending on the devil in the details. But I feel like Dr. King's sermons and philosophy ought to be taught as part and parcel of Patriotic education, and Character education, in America's schools. MORAL EDUCATION is important now more than ever. America has not had a better moral voice than Martin Luther King, Jr. By the way, he was a close friend of Billy Graham, perhaps closer than JFK.
