This is a very powerful speech indeed, he had a very good insight into life and the purpose of mind. This speech is for these times and beyond. The aspect of the speech where he talk about the uses of the mind, whereby a man can be in one state and still be in another by using your mind, is Very powerful indeed. I suspect he knew that mans mind or imagination is jesus christ and the bible addresses the human mind, its all a psychological drama and the Bible must be interpreted psychologically, its all symbology. Maybe in his era, the masses of people didn't want to accept that type of teaching even thou many did. Great speech nevertheless, continue to post more and keep up the good works.

Hi Mr. Garner, I recorded this from the radio about 40 years ago. There used to be a Sunday evening radio program called “Martin Luther King Speaks”; I think that it was sponsored by the SCLC.
