This is not your average Matchbox car unboxing video. Some of my viewers from around the world have been sending me random packages containing everything but Matchbox cars. Here is my first random selection video. Hope you like it!

Cary ( and others ), my humblest apologies! - I have run out of time to do my voice over for my latest video and I have also noticed a few minor shortcomings during my review of the finished video. In about seven hours I will be awake and will hit the ground running to get this vid uploaded tomorrow morning. Glad to see the box I sent arrived and you liked the contents. The Christmas wrap was because you say it is like Christmas with each unboxing. I think your format is good. Unboxing gives you a break from restoring, gives us something to see later on and we get to see what is inside. Only the sender knows what is inside the rest of us have to wait. I like the restorations as well. If one does not like the unboxing, see you on Saturday with the rest of us. Remember the old Aesop fable about the donkey. Bottom line, you can't please every one. The animals on the patches are a moose on the left, a deer on the right with a black bear at the top. They are all animals indigenous to Ontario. Enjoyed the video and will fire off a letter to you soon. Cheers and thank you for an entertaining time and all you do.

You don't need a separate channel for the unboxings! It is very gracious of you to acknowledge gifts in this way. I can't imagine objecting to graciousness! And the unboxings give us an idea of the makeovers we might see on a future video. Something to look forward to.

Personally I think it's nice have both the make over and unboxing videos, it gives a change of pace. Anyone who doesn't like to watch the unboxing can just skip it!. That my American 2 cents worth on the subject....

I enjoy the unboxing videos as much the makeovers. It seems to me though if you don't like the unboxing video just don't watch them, nobody forces you to, just watch the makeovers ones. No real need to have 2 channels unless you want to start Marty's Corgi Makeovers.

Btw, the white car with bluelights out of the first package, it's the Matchbox Superfast #46 "Stretcha Fetcha" Ambulance. Made in England 1971. I had one in my childhood. Keep up your good work. I like both...If somebody doesn’t like the unboxing they can just skip over it.....I don’t think 2 channels is necessary...For me, it adds depth to the channel when you talk about and restore one of the vehicles you received.....

It's also very interesting to see the variety of Matchbox vehicles that have been produced over the years. Keep your format the same, I agree with several others commenting that you don't need another channel. The makeovers/unboxings are great but we also watch in large part for you sir, your character and sense of humor is what brings a lot of us back time and again. Marty, you touch people all over the world because what you do brings back memories of a fun more relaxed time in our lives when all we had to do all day was play with our toys in the dirt with our friends. Nearly everyone on the planet can relate with Matchbox, and others. I love what you do and I can tell that you love what you do as well which makes it even more enjoyable to watch. Most of us can also relate with Kevin because no matter who you are or where you live, we all had that one friend that kept us on our toes with their mischievous behavior. Keep up the good work! I Love your unboxing videos, it is so cool to see what people send from around the world, You not only need a world map but country maps to put pens in. And maybe different color pins white for one package blue for five packages red for ten you get the idea. you can not make everyone happy but you sure do make the day for alot of us. I think you should keep in it all on one channel. I like the unboxings to see the various cars that have been made that I never knew existed. I also like them because I am always impressed by the overwhelming generosity of people that contribute to the channel. That to me is the best part of the unboxings videos. I hope you will do a race car themed show for some of your open and closed wheeled race car models some time.They were my favorites as a kid. Thanks for taking the time to share this. I always watch you on Saturday mornings.
