Still Maruti cars can be seen running in the traffic at almost all parts of the country. When most cars have vanished from usage & become extinct, Maruti 800 is the only car which is still having a healthy presence in Indian roads. Thanks for making this episode.😊

my dad bought an omini on 2016, I learned driving from omini, it clocked one lakh kilometers , we sold it this june ,because in need to upgrade the car. It had a good resale value and now we bought etios liva in preowned market.... but the memories and personal connect I had with omini holds a special place in my life.☺

Hi... I'm a regular motowagon viewer from wayanad, kerala. I like your contents.. A moonbeem colour 2001 model mpfi stock 800 along with me. It's a gem. It can be maintain as cheap as a splendor's service cost.. Mileage is great. Power figures are low in paper only.. Only an enthusiast can recognize that. Once, I met with an accident in 800 but me and my sister escaped with no injuries.. Its low slung design helped the vehicle from rotation after the accident. Perfect design.. I think its the first front wheel drive mechanism in an indian manufactured car at that time. No sensors less electronics... No problems...

Sir நான் 2013 model 800 white colour car வைத்திருக்கிறேன். இதற்கு Koyas seat, Power steering and booster பிரேக் alter பண்ணிருக்கேன். 55000 km ஓடிருக்கு. புதிய கார் போல் வைத்திருக்கிறேன். கோயமுத்தூர்.

After our dad's Ambassador we bought 1994 green colour 800 paying premium of Rs 5000/- and sold it in 2002 and purchased above model 800 2nos still retaining it 😊 really great car with good mileage of 22 km on highway and 18 or 19 km in city 🎉and 2015 purchased Baleno Zeta petrol.

Did you know? How many of you know that behind introducing Maruti800 for India was idea of a Tamilian? Maruti 800 was brought to India by a Tamil CMD of Maruti Udyog - one Mr. V. Krishnamurthy from a village near Trichy. The initial tie up was with Renault or some European company (Fiat or Peuguot) for a small car but that didn't materialize. So our man went towards Japan for Suzuki, Toyota in search for a new collaboration and then finalised M800 for India. If you see the old cars were with Indian 'M' emblem of Maruti but now it is 'S' emblem due to shareholding by Suzuki now.
