Maruti Suzuki Ertiga : What you really need to know : PowerDrift

There is a new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in town, and it gets a lot more than a few cosmetic tweaks. The seven-seater MUV is now based on a new Heartect platform.
Visually, it gets a bold new design prominently featuring a floating roofline and a chrome grille. Inside you have a new dashboard and a bunch of additional creature comforts. It also gets AC vents for the second row.
The petrol variants get a new K15B 1.5-litre engine developing 103bhp. The oil burner is the same tried-and-tested 1.3-litre DDiS developing 89bhp.
Despite the increase in the prices, the Ertiga continues to be more affordable than its rivals. There are improvements in the handling department too, as Rohan finds out during his spin in the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

Rohan, there was something off in this presentation. Probably a lower energy level compared to your other videos. Nevertheless, Powerdrift is jeans among trousers when compared to other auto channels and is going to be like that for long.

WRT car front all seems to be good, but what’s happening within power drift.. this is not our usual Tenhut with his super glorious energy.. totally off he is.. what is that Apple Android Auto car play by the way.. that too from Tens description..🥴🥴 Hope everything is alrt within u guys..

I don't get why Suzuki has to go with beige interiors on such a big vehicle. This sea of beige just hideous. They should at least go with a darker shade like the one used by Hyundai. This shade of beige when added to the already cheap plastic that maruthi uses looks extremely cheap. Well, you can't complain much when your getting it this cheap. But the color is an eyesore

A very tired video...I can understand the logic coz of a tired car .. isn't it. Even I realised at a early stage that it will never kick in according to our taste. A big thumbs up for Rohan aka TenHut but not for the car or even Manufacturer. Thanks alot once again PDArmy

Suzuki's logic: Indians like features. Indians like good looks. Indians like comfort. Indians don't care much about safety. There is not even an NCAP for India. So, let's build cars which have looks, features, and comfort. Let's build the chassis out of used coke cans. That way we can keep it cheap.

Hey PD, Is the new Ertiga exactly same as the one sold in Indonesia? I know people complained about A/C performance mainly due to blowers instead of aircon vents for 2nd and 3rd rows. I see it has been carried over which is a shame. Can you tell if A/C has improved in anyway?

Cool review, Crisp and to the point!! I always wondered about fog lamps!! Are they really practical for Indian conditions? I also tried using during winter with low visibility, but couldn't see any advantage out of them!! Can you guys able to bring a video on explaining the usage and how to take full use of FOG lamps!!

It seems like somebody forced Rohan to do this review. His lack of interest and sarcastic tone through out is off-putting. It is hard to make Ertiga look cool and it does not fit in with the vibe of PowerDrift, but that doesn't mean you can do a shoddy job. I'd rather you guys skip it.

Manual 25kmpl 😂😂😂 my cousin owns ertiga maual we have tested it on highway with speed of 70-80kmpr it gave 16kmpl of mileage they always give fake report of mileage and crash test they have even apologized customers couple of years ago

If you drive the car well then you can go for this new ertiga. Low cost maintenance, low budget with good features. If everyone is found of accidents then no car is worth buying in INDIA.

Honda BRV is basically very good car with a very refined engine & very light steering only drawback is the low height of the car so if you are a tall person getting inside & outside is bit uncomfortable with low sitting position.
