Here's the issue with what Scott said, Jean isn't his wife so she not a summers, Madeline is, but Scott who is brain dead stupid and dips on his wife and the mother of his child the moment Jean comes back the same Jean that cheats on him occasionally with wolverine.

Ikr? In the old series, she probably would have moaned piteously & given up about twenty feet off the ground, causing them to drop, with Scott yelling "JEAN!!!" while trying to catch her. Almost a little weird to not see her being portrayed this way, it was the status quo for so long 😄

I like that they actually included the argument. One of the ways people try to explain how powerful Cyclops is is by saying he could blast straight through a mountain. Here he does, in fact, blast straight through a mountain.

Was cool, but simply blasting through the small amount of rubble at the exit would be the smarter move. The Summers seem to be more about style than smarts. Jean could have not dropped the car at the end either, but they needed an explosion to pose in front of.

It's so cool to see Jean using her powers without fainting immediately after! She has always had one of my favourite mutant powers, but in the 90s she couldn't lift a tiny rock without falling into someone's arms after. 😅😂

Just liek what their use to do with her in the comic books when she first start off her powers wasn't know to be that strong but it did stated in tine she would get stronger. He’s accepting Jean and Scott as people, for sure. But he’s not accepting her as his mother. Because she’s not. If a twin has a child, that doesn’t mean the other twin is his mother insofar that she didn’t give birth to him. Genetically, sure, because: _twin._ But as Jean herself in XM97 said to Maddie, Maddie gave birth to Nathan, and that’s something no-one can take away.

@@jwbuckmiller82jbWell, after being front and Center for the last 24 years of X-Men movies and cartoons, I’m happy we focus on other characters. X-Men Evolution was amazing. Not only did it give us the first competent and powerful, useful Jean Grey, but the best depiction of Scott and Jean as individuals as well as a couple ever (until now!) And Logan also took a back seat, as one of the teachers. Not only was Daddy Logan wholesome and allowed the X-Kids to be front and center, but when he _did_ get his own episodes, they were extra awesome. Especially with the X23 stories.

I just would like the comics to equally make her telekinesis omega level like her telepathy, instead of just alpha. But Alpha is very powerful - Xavier is “only” an Alpha level telepath, yet referred to as the greatest telepath in the galaxy. But still. It’s _Jean._

I was 7 in 1992 when this show came out. I’m so happy, for real this brings me back. I even have the old X-Men Arcade game in my man cave. I wish I had the old SNES and Sega games again. Yet my father threw them out after I joined the Army because I moved my mom away from him after my Iraq leave because he was abusive. Point being, I love the X-Men. I bought the book Eric Lewald and Julia Lewald put out right away. That’s a must buy people.

Jean in the original show while kind of weak she was very reliant on how she was as a person which she did shine in that but not in...actually being a badass omega level mutant, dark phoenix saga was handheld well and jean was supportive with the other members as the 'heart' of the group, kind of a 180 from the movies where they kind of treat her as ticking timebomb with "oh no guys it's the dark phoenix" but not much else in other aspects. later animated versions of jean and how she is here is that close perfect blend

Well I mean, Maddie and Jean, regardless of Maddie’s origin, are effectively twins. So regardless of the fact that Jean and Maddie are genetically identical, Jean’d be considered his aunt. As well as genetically his mother (but not, as she never gave birth to him). So either way, “Summers Family” still applies.

@@ghostrouxinol6169: Rogue? Lmao! I don’t know what you’re talking about with that one. I can understand Jubilee (she’s better now than before, but whatevs) and Sunspot. But Rogue took on an entire military compound designed to contain the Hulk on her own and was instrumental in saving lives in Genosha. I don’t know what you’re smoking to think Rogue is useless in the show.

@@fishnewt1331Rogue is powerhouse but that inst her power. She stole from Ms. Marvel. It's ticking bomb before Ms. Marvel gets them back. Rogue is only used of you need an power from character and that character's mind isnt stronger than her.

Everyone loving the human sentinals not realizing theyre basically dead zombified humans lol. I wouldnt be surprised if we see some of the dead mutants turned into human sentinals, that would be gut wrenching and make the team have a harder time fighting them, I mean imagine if Gambit shows up as a sentinal and Rogue literally cant bring herself to fight him.
