Marvel Animation’s X-Men’97 revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.
The all-new series features 10 episodes. The voice cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto, and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.
Beau DeMayo serves as head writer; episodes are directed by Jake Castorena, Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura, and the series is executive produced by Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and DeMayo. Featuring music by the Newton Brothers, Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 is now streaming on Disney+ and the first episode of the upcoming three-part finale is streaming on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

Xavier wasn't gone for 5 years - only for one. The 90's series started in 1992, but it had a ton of time-skips between the Seasons. The producers also flatout said, that '97 takes place a year later...

Here's a thought. Why don't the powers that be, RELEASE THE DVD AND BLURAY, TO A SHOW, SERIES OR MOVIE. PRIOR TO ITS PREMIERE...??? That way, once viewed on air. We can immediately rush out and buy it. Or at least as soon as possible, afterwards. Ps....... I'm hooked on the previews, of the xmen'97, already. 😊

I'm sorry but the Steve Dikos inspired Spider-Man animated MCU adjacent show that's going to be animated in that Steve Dikos style from the comics, is literally also peak. Like u get classic villains and other heroes showing up. Better yet, Charlie Cox and Vincent D'onofrio will voice their respective characters on the show aka Daredevil and Kingpin So no, rather u like it or not, people are interested in it. Also the Spider-Man 98 series is still a for sure thing
