The Eternals were created in the seventies when the book “Chariots of the Gods” by Erich Van Daneken posited that space gods depicted in Incan pictographs had created mankind. It was huge in sci-fi culture, so many stories about advanced racies creating humans and their cultures. And the Eternals had a history similar to the Greek Pantheon; Chronus and Uranus are among the first Greek Dieties, just like in the Eternals. Thanos is a Deviant Titan.

Thanos is an Eternal from the planet Titan. He have Deivate Syndrome but is NOT a Deviant.

This was a fantastic video. You really did an excellent job breaking down the Eternals. You managed to explain the Eternals, the Deviants, and how there history ties in with the human Marvel Superheroes and the interconnected history of the Skrulls, The Kree, and the beings from Titan, all in the span of 10 minutes. Eternals came from Jack Kirby's beef with DC so he took his New Gods concept to Marvel and made the Eternals. It was a shyt comic lasting a few years then redone in the 90s and recently in 2004 for a short run.

3:13 are we sure about Gaia presenting 12 to the deviance? I think you’ve got that backwards. The first host, at least the first telling of the story, is where they essentially took Proto humans and created the genetic modifications.
