ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I’m confused why this is even a figure in the first place. She’s a background character in the movie. We don’t even see her mask off or an explanation of her substantial size. I really wish this character is included more in Beyond the Spider-Verse because I’m really curious.

I would happily get this figure due to how sick her design is, but the paint inconsistency really lets her down imo. For that price, I can’t really excuse that, no matter how good the base figure is. Watch Figuarts or Sentinel or even Mafex do better. (Update: this character did like nothing in the movie why did she get a figure over like Spider Byte, Spider-Man India or Ben Reilly. Sick design but like… what’s the point?)

I think we will see more of her in the sequel, but I agree, I wish we got to explore this version of Spidey. Most likely because, like we said, she looked really cool and Hasbro probably thought it would be a good figure to make.

I been wanting 😩 that Iron Monger figure. I might have to buy it. I been meaning to cut back on my purchases, but it's so hard. I'm about to move real soon. Can't afford Cyber spiderwomen quite yet. I did just buy that The Blob figure, and he's definitely one of my new favorite figures. That and I just bought diamond select Juggernaut. I freaking love this figure. Only because I got it from a trade, but I would never pay the price that it was made as. And as for the movie, you’ll be disappointed. She’s barely in it. Maybe like a millisecond? Trying to make a shot on a bus scene? But that’s it. I just love the way disfigure looks. It reminds me of venompool. They build a figure but a bit more to it. But I completely understand for people who paid the $70 for this. Which is insane.

For $60 this figure is absolutely not worth it, but if you can find it on clearance for under $20 it is totally worth it. I got super lucky and found one on clearance at Target a few days ago for $17 and even with all the problems it has it is worth that price.👍

It's priced to make money even on markdown, probably $8-10 to manufacturer, so even if it hits $30-40 they will still do ok.

Ya this fig is a werid torn I don't think we've ever seen before. Cause it looks bad ass no question but then we get the negatives that I feel put the figure down more then it should with the price, lack of paint and accessories. All things we as collectors have become use to so for me I love the fig it's different and stands out on the shelf. The other stuff I said just sucks cause it's Hasbro cheating out on us the customer and insulting a fig that could've been in the running 4 fig of the yr done with more care and passion.

Marvel select doesn't make nearly the same amount of figures as Hasbro and they are only sold in comic book shops not retail stores!! Plus the sculpt for Cyborg spider woman is far more complex then anything he compared it to! So that's why the high price point! Size isn't everything!!!! Stop comparing just the size!!!!!

The lazy paint apps and the insane price makes this figure a very easy pass. I pretty much stopped buying Marvel Legends so I don't miss getting these. I got Mojo on clearance. I'll be patient and wait and if I never get it, oh well. Hasbro pretty much lost a customer with me.

I don’t get how a male bodybuilder from a Mad Max movie is supposed to be a Spider-Woman. I think my favourite part is the belt, that was my first reminder of the classic Cyborg Spider-Man. I also like the cast that the webbing looks like metal wire. First they picked Jessica Drew from her specific pregnancy stage and then race-swaped her. And now this character? I guess Gwen teaming up with a classic Spider-Woman with her classic red and rellow outfit or all of the other Spider girls was to much for Sony. This is a hard pass for me. Really enjoyed your mood through the review, though. Thanks, man.

It's definitely one hell of a figure! It has a few shortcomings it seems, but for hasbro, bravo!! It DOES weird me out how identity politics have made this character a female... I mean, NOTHING about the charachter design says "female"... it has pecks, for crap sake! Lol! But that aside, I don't think we've seen thus kind of detail work in an ML figure, since toybiz. 60 bucks IS steep, but it's still better than the 60 dollar Blob figure, no contest. Look at the amount of detail on this figure, as opposed to the Blob. Sik

Personally I would wait until the movie released and the character received some background before claiming identity politics. We have no idea why the character looks this way yet. It may be a small person inside, may be modeled after her mentor, who knows

This WILL be a cheap figure, though. This is not an attractive or well-known figure. I can't see many fans really wanting this figure, and I feel that it's just a real shame that they released this in a figure slot when so many other classic characters--even classic Spider Man characters specifically--still have not yet had an entry in the series.

I dont get the appeal of this entire wave, especially before the movie. They all look like fisher price toys imo. Maybe its just me but I don't see it past Miles, Ben, and Gwen. The rest are just eww and I love 2099 and Punk in other media so idk
