See Marvel's Spider-Man in action on PC, running at ultrawide resolution using mouse and keyboard controls.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is now available on PC and with it comes support for ultrawide 21:9 displays. This aspect ratio looks great while swinging around New York City fighting crime, as well as during the game’s numerous cinematic cutscenes. However Spider-Man Remastered ultrawide support isn’t without its faults. For example, menu screens such as the map or the skill tree do not support 21:9 displays. We also ran into a visual bug with the waveform UI during calls in the game. Other supported ratios include panoramic 32:9 and Nvidia Surround multi-monitor setups.
This gameplay was captured using mouse and keyboard controls. This method of playing is serviceable, but does not feel as natural as playing with a controller such as the DualSense, which is supported as well.
The PC port of Spider-Man also includes an unlocked frame rate, improved shadows, ray-traced reflections at varying quality levels, Nvidia Deep Learning Super Sampling, Nvidia Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing and more.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is coming to PC on August 12, 2022. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also come to PC sometime in Fall 2022.
Marvel's Spider-Man originally launched on PlayStation 4 in September 2018. The remastered version came packaged with the ultimate edition of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which launched with the PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020.

I remember buying this game on PS4 then procrastinating on playing it for like a month. Then when I finally played it I spent the entire weekend absolutely immersed in it. One of the best games ever made! Period!

@@ironmatto3 I have to admit miles morales somehow made web swinging better. I think it has to do with how loose Miles’s style is because he’s new to being spiderman and he’s constantly flipping and stuff it just seems faster. Good thing it’s coming out on pc too!

What did everyone change their key bindings to? I changed web swing to right click because it was making my finger tired pressing shift. But for other things like zip tonpoint I kind of miss or forget having it on default c but I don’t know where else to put it. I’m combat dodge is perfect in ctrl yet I get mixed up with the press/hold stuff like f and left click. Guess I gotta get used to it but what does everyone else have their keys on for convinence

Shift for swinging still, zip to point on middle mouse button feels very natural, combat dodge on ctrl feels nice, I have it on both ctrl and alt and it works well

Thanks for the good insight. Keyboard freely assignable? Not everyone plays by default with WASD. (and gets carpal tunnel syndrome in old age LOL) This is the decisive purchase factor.

@@optimusbee1274 you in the past lol literally every controller works on a PC now. Insomniac actually said if you have a PS5 pad then the dualsense and haptic feedback will work. I usually use a Switch Pro controller on PC

@@ceeril nope. Ultrawide 4k is a little too much for the PS5 hardware. Even on pc, you'll need a 3090 for ultrawide 4k (native)

keyboard and mouse probably work great in this game. I remember it involved a lot of camera movement with sticks, which would be a straight up upgrade with a mouse

yep, zip to point becomes completely insane with a mouse, you also get absurd accuracy and speed with web shooters
