As you all know when Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 released in 2018 up to Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered we have vanilla combat gameplay with normal combat takedowns, but with Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales release and PC modded we got a new combat overhaul for Spider-Man PC, the Unlimited Combat Mod. What this does is add a ton of unused combat finishers, combos, miles morales finishers and combos and a whole lot more, Avernix did a fantastic job so lets compare these.

I like like the E3 restoration combat probably more as a vanilla combat than the real vanilla because you can choose to jump to air combo rather than spam the combat button to automatically air combo

I forgot to say that I dislike the super unsmooth animations in many of these mods, some of which are very little and don't even need to be present whatsoever, breaks the immersion for me.

Unlimited combat is obviously better, but you can make the vanilla combat look much more interesting if you don’t launch enemies in the air so much

Yo iVoltex, thanks for the showcase. Just to clear a couple things up, it would appear you are also using GuitarthVader's unreleased Raimi Finisher overhaul for UC. Just in case some people DL and notice my finisher line up is slightly different, mostly the same, i think he changes 2 or 3 finishers from my file. This mod has always been particularly hard to showcase as all the added moves have their own custom button inputs, so without someone either talking you through it or button prompts on the screen, its hard to really see how much this mod does. -Avernix

The only problem with all these mods and unused animations that PC Spider-Man can unlock is that... if we see them in Spider-Man 2. People are gonna throw some rocks at Insomniac for reusing old stuff... but to be honest, they're waaaay to cool not to be used and totally polished. I hope they use some of them.

Insomniac has probably created there own lol, they use motion capture and wires for his air stuff. They won’t use this stuff it will be there own

Funny thing is that most of these "unused" animations are mostly just boss finishers or special enemy finishers If you'd look at the swords man demon, rhino, miles morales finishers or the whip demon finishers you'd see that this is where most of the animations come from

So it's just the contextual from Spiderman 2018 and Miles morales a lot of them being from miles morales finishers. Some of them didn't make it into the final game. Not as unlimited as you're making it out to be.
