So you want to mod spider-man to get the most out of web swinging? Well In this video I walk you through step by step how to get started. I’ll also help guide you toward creating your own mix of mods to get your preferred style. I tried all the web swinging mods. Enjoyed it for a limited time but in the end i removed all these mods and realised OG just hits different.

Yeah for me it was the lack of animations. When you transition during swinging, the animation just cuts to another one instead of smoothly transitioning into the next animation making the swinging less fun and impressive.

Dude I love this game so much I bought a pc just to Mod it. So far piqos webslinging is the best followed by the acrobatic but that one is a little too flippy. Lol. Just one swing and release will have you doing like 6 flips before enter your next swing phase.

@hanzo3391 No. He goes kind of fast here. There are other videos on youtube that go a little slower but beware the videos are like 7-8 months old. Some things have changed since then. Like you might not have the same files as them. It's kind of crazy how there isn't a whole lot more videos out there.

@patrickodonnell3055 I was replacing my old PC that's about 12 years old. I got a top of the line PC so it cost me some serious cash. However, you can get a good PC for about 7-8 hundred. Just make sure the graphics card meets spidermans remastered requirements. They aren't that high really. Might be able to find a PC for like 4-6.

The only time i got it working it load forever and i restart and the modding tool asks for toc (table of content) whatever that is

Hi! I'm not 100% sure unfortunetly but off the top of my head it was the MCU swinging animations with SMPC Ultimate Combat Mod swinging camera. I also used the more frequent phone swing version as I just loved that animation a lot. Here's the load order: - MCU Animations 1.6 (More Frequent Phone Swing Kick) - MCU Web Releases and Jump Tricks - MCU Air Idles - SMPC Ultimate Combat Swing Camera Only You can find links to these in the description of the video. Whenever I download a mod it comes a .rar file and won't show up in the modding tool. How can I fix this?

Which one of these actually don't cause the "spooderman" glitch? I don't want to get rid of the jaw physics on all the suits and the eye emotes on the MCU suits' eyes.

I think every one of them has atleast one miles animation which will trigger it during that certain animation but then snap back to normal right after so usually you never see it with these mods but I think if I remember correctly andrews is the biggest offender. It’s difficult to avoid to be honest.

@ayaanabdullah937 I haven’t messed around with them in a while so I don’t wanna recommend you anything that turns out full of spooderman lol. I’ve had a lot of fun using “Traversal And Momentum Tweaks” which has a module to only adds a few minor new animation to spice up the default. I prefer that over complete conversions that change everything.

Yeah sure! I use this mod for the camera, more specifically the "SMPC Ultimate Combat Swing Camera Only" file: www.nexusmods.com/marvelsspidermanremastered/mods/2516?tab=files For FOV setting I'm not 100% sure since my settings got reset since this video, sorry! Off the top of my head its around the +10 mark, anything more and he looks way too far away from the camera.

The rigid feel of velocity always bugged me, or when you swing near the ground you can see your just floating, or when you expect a giant swing from a big fall but it just ends up feeling like a normal swing Can't imagine playing this game without the mods I have

At 1:51, at the apex of his swing when he lets go, why did he shoot web behind him right after? What is that and how do I do it?

It’s been a while since I used this mod but I’ll try my best. It’s part of the raimi mods web release. And most of these animations are simply triggered by two things: - the height at which you let go of the web - if the boost button (A/X) was pressed during the swing By just looking, I don’t think I pressed the boost button, it was just me letting go of the web. And the height you can see in the clip so try to match that. If you just try changing height and boost or no boost you’ll get it, good luck!

abt the order of the data packs if i install a different mod how do i know the order

The order shouldnt break anything but will instead overwrite anything that conflicts with certain mods. The nexus mods page will tell you if an order is specifically needed to achieve a certain combination. For an example say you install Raimi swinging mod, you can install all those files and order wont matter because they dont conflict with anything. but then if you also install MCU swinging mods and place it below the Raimi ones it will overwrite the Raimi animations, say you place only a few below but place the swing kicks above the raimi swing kicks then the raimi swing kicks will show in game rather than the MCU ones. Everything at the bottom of the list will have priority over everything above it. Things like the camera mod and others I would say place below everything so it has max priority. It does get confusing so trial and error is key! Hope this helped a little.

The .suit files require another tool that specifically adds new suits as a new suit slot, see link here: www.nexusmods.com/marvelsspidermanremastered/mods/2318 All you need to do is put that tool in the same folder as the SMPC tool then place the file which ends with ".suit" into the same folder as the tool. Then drag and drop .suit file onto the tool exe. If "Choose a folder" windows pops up, select asset_archive folder inside the games folder. Hope this helps and thanks for watching my video!

With all due respect to Insomniac and what they've created, thus far.. This is honestly the key area that I feel they could work and improve upon; The web-swinging. Their web-swinging is a little rigid, stiff and there's a severe lack of animations / movement. Especially when you look at how the mods on PC have handled it and what they've been able to accomplish. It should feel "free / free-flowing". Insomniac haven't quite captured that.. Yet. So I do think they could learn a lot from the PC mods from Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. Because one of the big things with Spider-Man, is his ability to express himself with his movement and web-swinging movement / animation. Hell! They could even assign specific swinging animations to specific suits.. Although that may be asking TOO much. But anyway.. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the web-swinging in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. But the mods on PC have nailed it 💯👌🏻

Couldn't agree more. The great thing about Miles Morales' game was that you can instantly tell its Miles swinging. Best way to describe it would be Peter's anims are stock and thefore comes off as uninspiring. The animations we got to see a few days ago in that gameplay trailer are exactly what I was hoping for. Specific aggresive symbiote animations would be cool aswell!

Yes! And its a great thing to do too because it means you can mix and match. I'd suggest trying to learn a bit more on how a load order works as that dictates which swinging mods will overwrite others.

I’d double check you have the mod tool setup correctly and it’s pointing to the right folder. Also maybe try running the mod tool as admin and then hitting install to game again. If all else fails I’d delete the mod tool and follow the steps again. Hope it works!

You just need to install the program 7-zip, I can’t link it here unfortunately but it’ll be the first link if you google. Once it’s installed it will let you double click the rar file, if it doesn’t just right click open with and choose 7-zip. Inside the rar will be the smpc file.

so when i go to add a mod in the mod manager the mod file doesn't show up. It's there if open it in file explorer but in the mod manager it's just an empty folder did i mess up something?
