My wife watched the first season with me. After we finished it, she turned and said that Frank was her new favorite superhero. I asked why and she said, “He has no superpowers, he’s just a badass marine.” Hoorah!!!

Over the years I've watched actors take on the role of the punisher from Dolph Lundgren then Thomas Jane then Ray Steven's and .now Jon bernthal all were excellent in the role of frank castle but the Netflix TV series with Jon bernthal as the punisher put it in true perspective of the character this series showed how he dealt with his family loss every day every hour to every second of the day his pain never stopped it was always there it never went away it drove him it pushed him to punish those who attack the innocent and made them all pay despite people support or not he didn't care he was always ready yo die to end his pain so he can reunite with his wife & kids nothing he wanted more than that even when he won he would get hurt and keep going it made you feel his pain support him and what he was trying to do even if most people couldn't see his plan his vision jon bernthal played frank castle. the best but I still saluted and admired the other actors who played frank castle too before him watching this series I saw and felt his pain like never before what a series worth watching

It was good but a slight let down after such an amazing trailer. DD season 2 with the Punisher was the best marvel season on netflix for me.

@@Maesterful I mean why u don't love S2 I needed more punisher action I got more brutal punisher in S2 kinda happy really disappointed they canceled the show after 2 seasons this was darn good show like the best thing marvel had going along with daredevil punisher and daredevil were even better than what marvel was producing at that time in movies 😝✌️🔥🔥🔥

@@unknownstranger2621 The annoying ass kid he has to babysit, the weird ass relationship between Jigsaw and his therapist which dragged on and on, judgy women saying that all men are basically beasts that need to be controlled (you know the scene I'm talking about), a half hearted stab at the church to paint white guys as evil and very little resolution at the end. Also Jigsaw had so much wasted potential, he was a joke of a villain compared to in S1. I was initially sad upon hearing there was no season 3 since the punisher is one of my favourite antiheroes but considering the fall in quality and interest in the show its probably for the best it's put on hold or cancelled altogether.
