Sony and Marvel are fighting over when to release Spider-Man 4 starring Tom Holland and also the direction of the film. Whether it should feature the multiverse and bring back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man or go the grounded route and have Charlie Cox as Daredevil costar with Kingpin as the villain.

It would almost be nice if they would treat this film like a solo Marvel project; and not too much like a multiverse set up. Just going back to the basics. Sort of like 2012’s TASM 1 and 2004’s Spider-Man 2. Staying centred on the relatability and everyday aspect of the character, and putting that front and centre. I don’t know, I think that would be nice to see again.
