Just got back from it, and I disagree about it being in any way confusing or hard to follow...and I'm not a comics guy. It jumps around, definitely, but it never struck me as a blur or too fast. Each new scene was given time to land to establish who we were with, imo. I do agree that Thanos is awesome though, really well done, and definitely delivers on the hype of his being the looking threat in the universe. Thought the movie was great, Better than Sex even.

Witchfall yeah and considering if you were at least paying attention to Civil War, Guardians 2, Thor 3 and Black Panther then the arcs and storylines in here shouldn’t be confusing at all. Making Thanos kind of the focus here also helps bring audiences up to speed as to why he is so big and bad and feared but also understand where he’s coming from and his connection to Gamora&Nebula. The only thing that caught me off guard a bit was Thor on how he acquires his new weapon and a surprise return character from Cap 1

No mincing word, it’s a proper blockbuster epic that hasn’t been seen on this scale for years, not since the first Avengers film. Well earned and a great culmination of a decade worth of films and a path setter to an exciting and bright future for Marvel films.

And now 5 years. I’ll never forget seeing this the day it came out. My ex of 5 years and I broke up walking into the theater and spent the rest of the night excitedly talking about the movie. I’ll be forever grateful to this movie for helping us commit to that decision and get through that night on a huge positive wave instead of misery.

My parents haven't seen every movie, and they vaguely remember the movies they saw; but they were able to keep up with the plot and get emotionally invested with all the characters. We were even able to theorize about the teasers in the last couple of scenes. That is pretty darn impressive on Marvel's part, even if the movie isn't a masterpiece.

This movie was beyond my expectations. I cried twice. Last Jedi is on the opposite spectrum on how plot twists should work. The audience left speechless, but not out of hatred. Just amazement and shock.

I went to see this with five friends who have only seen a handful of the other films in the MCU. They all really enjoyed it, despite assuring me they have a looooong list of questions. Also everyone clapped in my theatre every time a Big Reveal happened. So enjoyable. Can't wait to see this film at least a dozen more times this year!

My girl has only seen like 2 or three of the movies and still felt all the emotions in this movie. The movie set up Scarlett and Visions relationship. Set up Tony and Peters relationship. Peter and Gamora, Gamora and Peter. Peter and Drax. Ect. So as an isolated movie you knew who cared for each other. So the impact at the end you felt it.

I'm with Martin. Infinity War was a Better Than Sex for me. I liked Black Panther overall, but it had too many storytelling flaws that hurt it too much. Infinity War did a great job of delivering exactly what it promised and also added heart. It was an exciting, yet moving at times, thrill ride, whereas Black Panther had loftier goals, but it did stumble quite a bit in achieving those goals. I can certainly see someone praising Black Panther over Infinity War because of its cultural impact, but for me it comes down to how the films were executed, and Infinity War did a better job of delivering an epic and entertaining blockbuster than Black Panther did with its social commentary. Just my two cents though.

Oh wow, really high praise, I was worried because of the somewhat underwhelming score on Metacritic(at the time of this comment) thinking this is another Age of Ultron which I didn't hate but also didn't care for, but I suspect it's like that because you need to keep up with these films as it is. Hyped
