it would have been cool if they had thrown in the Ultimate Nullifier, that once you beat Galactus down to no health, you have to do a short QTE thing where your character runs over and grabs the Nullifier whilst dodging Galactus' attacks and then use it on him in a nice ending cinematic. it would not only be awesome to watch but would make it more plausible of having destroyed him.

However this crisis of two earths has forced his hand. The marvel universe and Capcom multiverse are merging with each other and this event may cause the destruction of both. Galactus has detected the source of the anomaly it's the two twin earths. Galactus for the good of all will move to resolve this crisis.
