Mark Lowry proved that he is a REAL singer!!! More than that, when God spoke through him and had him pen the lyrics, he gave us an image and a moment to understand what he wrote. Mark is one of my favorites and he is hilarious! Comedic timing in droves. I loved your reaction. Voctave is no joke. We definitely need them in this time. Thank you, Father!

Love your reaction, Mark Lowry wrote this song and has his friend Buddy Greene write the music to it. it was on his solo album in 1991. I think this is one of the most beautiful versions of it. Thanks for listening to it. God Bless you from North Carolina

Mark wrote the lyrics a long time ago. He is known for his singing and his Christian comedy. He is quite funny epsecially when he talks about events in his personal life.

He's got talent on loan from God! You should see his version of this, it must be 20 or 30 years ago, where it was just him a piano and 2 guys who were just there for a few harmonies!! It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, and the first time I was able to say Pentatonix didn't make the song better than the original!! But this was great as well. He has MS, which is why he's seated!!

He wrote this back in 1988. The Performance you're talking about was in NYC with Anthony Burgur on piano, with David Phelps and Guy Penrod singing back up!

When angels are given by God to sing it brings me badly tears. But you are the most entertaining reactionist I have seen. It is the first time I have laughter in this song because you were having a stroke LOL LOL please don't have a stroke so I'm looking forward to more entertaining reactions. Try David Phelps a friend of Mark Lowry. Songs like just as I am. No more night.. O Holy Night. His cover of I have nothing. He does this at the age of 52 unbelievable. And then. Mark Lowry wrote the words, Buddy Greene wrote the music. i've heard Mark sing different versions of this (some better than others) and many others try to sing it, but this is my very favorite version of this song ever! the angels singing in heaven are jealous of Voctave and Mark Lowry's spectacular voices! i had tears in my eyes over the sheer beauty of their singing and i am laughing out loud at your priceless reaction! thank you soooooooooooo much!

Mark wrote this with Buddy Greene. He's one of my favourites. He doesnt tour as much now because he has MS. Thats also why he's sitting here. Love, love, love this video!!

I know what article you saw that claimed this, but it's literally the only one that I've ever seen that claims this MS thing. I saw him perform recently and he stood the entire time. Here's what it also says toward the end of the article: "And what about the MS? That diagnosis came seven years ago, Lowry said. He decided against shots a doctor recommended, thinking that side effects would last longer than just during treatment. The doctor warned that future "episodes" could leave him blind or paralyzed, but no more symptoms have appeared, Lowry said. He thinks the diagnosis was wrong."

Notice that Mark was sitting which already makes a person strain for breath control. Mark has multiple sclerosis which is another factor limiting breath control. Yet he held those two phrases forabout 17 to maybe 20 seconds each! Once he did this recording with Voctave, it has been my favorite for all time❗🤗

U think Mark Lowry's singing leaves u shaking check out his stand-up comedy which will leave u shaking with laughter lol. Most notably, "Momma had Enough" & "The Last Word". Those gigs & others are why he's known as the Robin Williams of gospel comedy.

His name is pronounced "Lau-Rhee," with the first syllable sounding like the word bow, as in the front of a ship or to bend at the waist out of respect or thanks. I've been subscribed for a while now, else I'd smash that button again.
