Pretty funny. Some jokes were better than others. But she did well with the audience with her relaxed unforced delivery.

Her jokes were pure shit. One of her first ones was literally "I'm a mother". Haha! She got naked inappropriately! She made shit-ass accent jokes. She literally didn't make one original joke at all.

The sex drive one was funny. I think comedians should stay away from Trump jokes if they want to be considered original. Everybody and their mother are doing those. Low-hanging fruit.

Well, she's had a minor one-off character in quite a few big sitcoms/tv shows... so you pick one (or she requests one) to help get the audience's attention. Name recognition is a big thing.

I have a very intelligent dictionary....it knows all the words, but it didn't laugh ...I think it's the way she's b r i n g i n g (you understand I am telling a joke) t h e j o k e s (this.. was the jo ke...y ou get iit?) s o s l o w l y then she waited 5 minutes so you can read the subtitles again.... The problem is that she takes so much time that when she arrives at the end of her sentences, we've been doing some shopping, cooking, reading a book ...and yes...we forgot with what she started.

ybor20 yeah, delivery is also important. Just because you understand the meaning behind the words doesn't mean it's funny. If it were that easy, everybody would be a comedian.

Her bits were good. Nice setups and the delivery always paid off. She seemed a bit stiff on stage but I understand taking it slow so that the audience has time to actually understand what you are talking about. Very well done!

I kinda want to go through 4+ years of med school, become an optometrist, and work until I find someone with 20/20 vision, just so I can tell them that their eyesight is "optimal". Then I would put on sunglasses while the CSI theme plays and walk out of the office.

ChadaMonkey i appreciated that pun. Your work doesn't go without notice, but is 20/20 the best? Isn't there a more desirable value.. 20/40? Idk, ive heard things, but am to lazy to research rn. Btw... i cant be the only one to point out that she was not very funny... Aren't there better comedians out there? I feel like everyone is treating her nicely because of her looks. But hey, maybe im wrong... doubt it though. I've never been wrong before... Opinions..?

Dude, most of these stand-ups are just cringy, not even funny. Also, 20/20 is what is considered normal, 20/40 isn't as good, but still able to pass a driver's test. 20/15 is better, but 20/20 is optimal. Not the best, but optimal.

When critisizing comedians it's important to remember the difference between "unfunny" and "unrelatable". Sure, Mrs. Gallagher's set bored me immensely, but as a 30 year old lifelong bachelor and certified neckbeard living in his mom's basement, I just couldn't relate to a word she said. Maybe she's funny, maybe she's not, I just don't feel qualified to make that call.

As a 24 year old certified neckbeard living in parents' basement I could relate to many of those and they were so great. So great. I think though, that people with different levels of empathy tend to relate to jokes that talk about something they haven't experienced more or less. But you're right, her jokes are objectively funny.

can one episode of How I Met Your Mother 5 years ago with a single line and 20 seconds of screen time (if you include wide shots) constitutes "You've seen on How I Met Your Mother" then again.. very funny seemed like a over statement as well. (also if her husband is 42.. IMDB either has her age wrong or she likes much younger guys)

That's not great, but decent, clean jokes more suitable for certain audiences that's a good thing. Just looked her up, she is 50 yo, a rather pretty woman, decent comedian, should have more success, I have to ask the same question again, Why Amy Schumer?

Good jokes, great delivery, very comfortable on stage, all while meeting the rigid standards & practices thrown at standups on this show (Seriously, CBS, loosen up a little). I give it an A. Bravo!

She must have come up with the sex drive joke in 2005 because 500GB is a joke for an HDD now. I know I'm being a dick, but jokes that are factually accurate are funnier, this is why the show Silicon Valley works. Just change two words, say he has a 10TB HDD that holds all of his 4K porn, would be much funnier.

energy ....good you did like it but for me it was like for an audience 85+ ...so incredible slow...every time waiting till everybody had time for a coffee I prefer the power and the speed of Samanta Bee or the humour of Betty Bowers,

I gotcha, I don't mind the slowness but to be fair I don't have a taste in stand up comedy developed. For me a stand up comedian is either "funny" or "not funny" and she was in the former. And wow I can't believe I forgot about Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian. She's awesome

somehow the amount of good stand up comedian's among women is limited while they do have Claire Goll....is "written" stand-up ..one should read her autobiography " La Poursuite du vent (Ich verzeihe keinem. Eine literarische Chronique scandaleuse unserer Zeit, 1976)." The pursuit of the wind, I do not forgive anyone; A literary chronique scandaleuse of our time, 1976....... The way she describes all world famous artists, authors and so on...she had more relations than Trump ever will have (paid & unpaid), Michelle Wolf's descriptions are so sweet compared with the pen of Claire Goll...but Goll was not only sharp and to the point, she could also write incredible beautiful about man she respected...
