Steve Harvey should be ashamed of the disgrace he's trying to cause this woman I hear her story over again on different tubes and she just wants to be a mother, Why would a man who claims to have it together be so vindictive to his own baby's mother, This seems like Steve is the scorned one even though he has moved on but his actions against her is so vile filled with hatred just because she divorced him... This is so sad but Karma will eventually show it's face to Steve because you receive back all the hatred you put out in the world and his money is not going to protect him because when Karma comes it comes like a beast... Wow, I married my boyfriend after high school and discovered he was a bad choice(he began to drink). I moved out, met a great guy and he paid for my divorce. I've been with this wonderful guy 49 years and I truly feel somebody upstairs coordinated this Union with a happy blessing.

It not only takes a toll to a woman emotionally,spiritually, physically most importantly financially. In today society a woman still doesn't get the same pay for the same job a man would do or considered wage wise head of household a man will always earn more in alot of ways. I am a retired Social Worker, I believe she, might have mental health issues, I have met women like this in my line of business. Never, never go to court without legal representation, she could had requested legal representation, if, and I say if, she can not afford representation. (She could had testified under oath to the fact even) None of us lived in their shoes, so only God knows, but she has a gift in speaking but a lot of times, she appears to enjoy the sound of her voice. And she believes is right! Another piece in the puzzle is the child, I have had cases where the judge has spoken in private with the child, (Evaluations may have been done on the child ) and that weights heavy as well. Texas, give the child the options, as well, where you want to live? If Mary is not stable or there is some type of evidence like psychological evaluation on her, witnesses etc...she needs an attorney. You don't send a child on a plane out of a whim and call 30 minutes before the plane lands to inform the other parent. What are you doing or what message are you showing that child? If I was Steve, I would say talk to my lawyers as well, that keeps she said, he said down. That is my 2 cent...I am a woman and I would have gotten representation, I just saying...

She made it through the pain, hurt, hopelessness and self questioning. Yes, there are books, pamphlets and articles about pushing past pain, yet in the end you are you very own book. You, your journey, your plight will determine your triumph. Every victory is personal as is every grievance or bereavement period. Faith, hope and Gods grace are the primary tools used in determining how swiftly we overcome any adversity. Once we adhere to that fact the better we become. It appears at the points she's done just that. She seems to have restored faith and appears void of hopeless, bitterness and anger. I applaud her courage for taking accountability for past actions/approaches. Her bravery for recognizing her silence was killing her. (That was a personal journey not yours nor mine). For her, silence was debilitating. Furthermore, the mention of a Christ like walk. Not just Mr. Harvey and his current wife, but it is hypocritical to proclaim a Christ like walk, to proclaim you embody and embrace yet, your Lifes' Letter contains flaws you choose not to address accordingly. The great commission being about Gods Family, you being part of Gods Great big Family, yet fray far away from that which keeps your family whole and in tact. I see no valid reason for abolishing her relationship with her son. If our lives are said to speak of our faith and those around us should know of our faith through our actions this is one area Mr. Harvey at the very least should seek to tweak/adjust. Make the effort. His life must match His message....It's hypocritical to impose on others relationship the very same assertions you don't apply to your ism relation(SHIPS).

I'm in her same situation. my ex was smart outgoing and a winner at all sports. we separated and he was aloud to take everything from me. made me look bad. while he looks good. he just must have bribed people and lied. people act like they don't believe me. but the lies are so much easier to deal with for this time I guess. even when he does look bad I think people seem to worship him. and all I want is my kids. I can't believe what he did to me. it ruined a time in my life that I will never get back. I was left devastate!!

Wow...sorry for what you have gone through!

She kept mentioning how many years they were together and that now he won't even talk to her. Does he allow her to ever see the child. Does she have any visitation? I think he could give her a lot of closure if he would just say, "I'm sorry." If Steve's such a Christian (which I'm NOT doubting), it shouldn't be that hard to do. I think that's why she's so hurt. Yet and still, some people may never be sorry for their actions, so you have to let go and let God.

As a Mother, this is hard to watch. I couldn't imagine losing my child and never having any contact. If this happened the way she says, Steve is wrong on many levels for this. I don't really care about the money issue, but she should have been given something. God blesses us even when we are undeserving, so don't be fooled by thinking you are always in the right because you come up. That's just because he loves you unconditionally.
