What a spectacular vacation. You showed us sights of Venice I had never seen before from the water. Your suite was absolutely exquisite, and the view, amazing! Swooon. Serious Grittii envy here! I've been to Venice many times since the 80s and lived there through 2016 but never stayed at Gritti or Danieli.Adored the ride over the canals (except your boy missed turning around at the station entrance - when you emerge from the station onto the Grand Canal it's literal time traveling)

Hi Mary, I just discovered your videos and I am so incredibly grateful for them! It is such a joy to experience these artworks, galleries and sites vicariously through you. I also enjoy the simple approach and how you incorporate a bite to eat.😊 I am curious, what kind of camera are you using to film everything? Is it an iPhone on the gyro, a GoPro or something a little more expensive? I would love to film my walks for my kids but don’t want it to wobble so much.😂 In the meantime, thank you again, and for your wonderful explanations as well. Happy travels!

Reminds me so much of a trip I took with my mother 10 years ago. It was magical, and so much of how you depicted Venice here was just how we experienced it. One wonderful memory was of us having gotten trapped away from our apartment by the rising tide, which was now 5 inches deep on the sidewalks. we had to take our shoes off and walk barefoot through very cold water. I felt terrible thinking I had led my 75-year-old mother into this mess. I apologized to her, and she said loudly“this is so fun! “ and she meant it too. And the Peggy Guggenheim is probably my favorite museum on the planet. We visited it twice while we were there, the second time on our last day. Thank you for this reminder. I will visit again soon.❤

Helllo...appreciate your work and your appreciation of artists...suggestion, from watching past videos I know you care about social welfare issues for instance mentioning Peggy Guggenheim not including women in her collection. maybe in your videos include more of that aspect of the art world, even in the choices of shows you cover etc we need more of that kind of perspective in this world and since you have a passion and a large audience you could make a difference. Thank you.
