Back in the day I actually danced to this song while stationed in West Germany. It was the best time of my life. West Germany 76-79, 85-88 and winter REFORGER 85. US Army Infantryman retired. This We'll Defend.

VERY well done, VERY good choreography, Very good sound mixing. I was in my 20s when this song came out on the radio. It was in the top 40 airplay for such a long time that people got tired of hearing it. That's probably why 600 people put thumbs down. But these gorgeous Japanese girls put a fresh spin on a classic, bright cheery song. I like what they've done, and more power to them!

This is genius !!!!! I can't think of any better way to do this song better than you did. I was a deejay in New York when this song came out in 1975 and was a huge hit and is still big to this day. This caught my eye because of Perfume alone. I first got into Japanese music after seeing The 5, 6, 7, 8's in Kill Bill and I was hooked. Then came Show-Ya. After a while I kind of fell away until about 6 years ago, when someone posted Wagakki Band's music video "Kishikaisei" on Facebook and I was immediately entranced and reembarked on Japanese musical journey. Baby Metal, SCANDAL, Stereopony, Band Maid, Aldious, Doll$Box, Nemophila and a whole host of others. One of them is Girlfriend, who did a great cover of Flash by Perfume, and that was my introduction to them. I'm really impressed by their style and class and smoothness. I think that there are several other songs from the Disco Era that would translate well to their dance style. I feel that these songs would lend themselves to making similar videos to this one, Rock Your Baby by George McRae, Fly Robin Fly by Silver Convention, I Could Dance All Night and Let's Groove by Archie Bell and the Drells, Searching by Change, Haven't You Heard by Patrice Rushen, Midnight Love Affair by Carol Douglas and Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now by McFadden & Whitehead. You did such a great job on this video.

This is when a creative choreographer meets a classic song. I know it is commercial driven but the reimaging of this song is great.

I remember the first time I heard this song. It was during an assembly while I was in 4th grade in the early 70's. This version really brings a smile to my face. I went to Tecumseh Acres for the 4th grade.

That's got to be one of the most mesmerising videos ever, the way they are all in perfect synchronisation, brilliant choreography. How 800 people don't like it is beyond me.

I was 10 years old back in 1975, more than 43 years ago and I saw the video back than and remember the dance very well. This video 40 years later pays a nice tribute to Disco music by 1980 I started sneaking into discos myself. What a great time to be alive.

This is very cool. It reminds me of the young Japanese ladies I used to see in the dance clubs in when I was stationed in Japan in the US Marines in 1984. The group is dances well, with fluid moves. They are also not half undressed. Something we have gotten away from today in the USA. This group Perfume is a refreshing smell. Go girls!
