Something I absolutely love about the emmis, especially as an engineer, is the ways they move. They often arnt moving like humans would, they move very efficiently and robotically which not only adds to their creepiness but makes them seem much more realistic.

I actually managed to time 3 perfect attacks on an EMMI back to back. That feeling is AMAZING. Almost feels like you got away with something you shouldn’t.

I love the Predator/Prey dynamic the game uses, it takes what Metroid Fusion created with the SA-X and improves and expands on it. This is really a fun game.

Might need more E.M.M.I (Enemy Masae Most Intimidated by) compilations if this is any indication of future Dread streams. After all, there's still 4 of them after this...

Fun Fact: You only have a 4 frame window to counter and it's random every time you get caught. So yea gl.

Seeing this makes me happy because this was me. Things chasing me freaks me out. The Phantom Cloak really does help once you figure out how to use it, until then it usually causes your death instead of prevents it XD

Okay, I've played through Dread like six times and the adrenaline from running from those impervious bastards still gets tingly. However, escaping one with a well-timed parry is the greatest feeling ever and two, this video was absolutely hilarious watching someone else go through it!

Watching Masae panic like this takes me way back to when Metroid Fusion came out. I was so afraid of the SA-X at the time. The EMMI very much remind me of that kind of tension.

Lmao that was fun to watch i always wondered how some people handle the absolute dread of the game at times with these almost impossible to kill bots every time i think im lost while the Emmi is chasing me i pause the game and look for an exit route xD not to mention im already used to thinking while panicking due to experiencing panic attacks which kinda were helpful funny enough, as this is the first video i came across from this particular channel i am not sure just how experienced you are at playing 2D Metroid games but you certainly did much better at boucing off those walls during your first time compared to my first playthough to escape those Emmi when they gotcha cornered though i guess i was luckier in actually countering them when i got caught
