The night that the Raptors became NBA champions, team president Masai Ujiri had a physical altercation with a law enforcement officer. In a CityNews exclusive, Sportsnet's Donnovan Bennett speaks with three Black police officers about what happened.

When u realize that the Crime bill in the 90's in the 🇺🇸 was designed as the new plantation. And that not all manufacturing went to China but in prisons, its very disturbing.

I'm extremely disappointed with MASAI UJIRI, only after video evidence prove the sheriff's deputy was the aggressor, a lier a thief. He target Masai Ujiri because he's black and rich. The deputy want to make a quick pay day, other black men loss their lives because of racist cops. Massi Ujiri should've counter sue the Deputy and the department, Masai Ujiri have the financial means to sue, this will make other cop think twice of picking on innocent black men. Masai talk about using is platform to help black people, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. So many black people in die, in jail, have their lives ruined by dirty cop,

Why are they talking about something that happened in California as if Peel Region doesn't have a huge problem with police brutality, racism and abuse of power. And these officers, even if they are black, are part of the problem. Modern day versions of Samuel L Jackson in Django Unchained. 🙄

I assume those here commenting that there is no proof this had anything to do with race, have been paying attention to the story since it initially happened and aren't just defending this cop because he's a white man, or a cop. If so, I would ask what their explanation for his race-baiting account of events is? He, and his police department, tried to paint a very specific picture of Masai and his temperment. The make-believe some people do because they're uncomfortable with confronting racism doesn't cut it.

Not at all! They are saying they would not have so quickly jumped to conclusions by relentlessly shoving him. That PIG was singling him out. He has a 'shoot first ask questions later' mentality. Can't you see that!?

@@victoriagreen1726 You assume. The cop was blocking his path to getting to the court. He didn’t know who he was. The shoving was from the other guy touching or putting his hands on the cop. Ya cant put your hands on cops. It’s a thing.
