I noticed in this video you annotated highlights of Antayla. As a young sailor of the Mediterranean Sea I was fortunate enough to get a port of call in Antalya. I have been to many places in the Med., Italy, Spain, Palma De Mallorca, Greece, Alexandria Egypt, Haifa Israel, Portugal, and I would place this port near the top of the list for souvenirs. Glass, meershum hand-carved pipes (Your design), leather, and of course rugs........ lots of rug shops who will gladly provide you with your drink of choice, for free, while they show you rug after rug after rug, and they will ship it for you. The shop owners and local people in general could not have possibly been any kinder. I would highly recommend a visit. I was an aviation mechanic on military platforms in the navy and later flew the f-14 simulator as a maintenance tech after retirement, so your channelis of much interest to me, TY. Congrats on your new home, exciting times............. gorgeous landing BTW!

Hi Michelle, retired builder here, when I was building a house I always asked the female even if it was husband,wife, partner, what she exactly wanted in the layout of the house sometimes it’s only when the house is taking shape that the realisation kicks in and the window isn’t giving the light you wanted, etc, I always had a very good relationship with both the owner and the architect so any problems that arose they were dealt with immediately, I understand your stress, flying I’m sure took you out of the worries of how everything was progressing at home, anyhoo love your posts as I’m still in love with flying and hearing about your house building makes me realise how much I miss the satisfaction of seeing a home completed 😊

@@DutchPilotGirl hi Michelle, even though I’m from Ireland i worked in Germany for roughly 4 years and the Dutch guys really looked after me as my German was non existent in the beginning, I would say that my home is very average as nearly all builders leave their own property to work on others, I’ve built hundreds of homes and the best feeling is when the owners look so happy at the quality of their homes, unfortunately theirs a lot of guys out there now have no respect for the quality of the home they are working on as they just want the money, I wanted to leave the property in the condition I’d leave it for my mother and in Ireland mother is number one, enjoy your home, take pride in what you have put into making it a home and keep entertaining us who enjoy your posts, and if you’re ever on a flight to Ireland I know where you can get the best Guinness, and it’s not far from the airport but then again you will have to have a coke or Pepsi 😊

@@DutchPilotGirl Thank you for your response Michelle, it is really appreciated. Baguio has the unique distinction of being the Summer Capital of the Philippines. High in the mountains on the largest island of Luzon, it rises one mile above sea level, and because of that the weather is always 10-12 degrees (C) cooler than the other islands and averages around 16-22 degrees all year around. The other magnificent thing that makes me love it, besides meeting my wife here 7 years ago, is when the afternoon clouds and fog comes, we have to look below us to see the clouds. That is absolutely breathtaking for me. Now, couple that with the fact that we built our home facing west, and the sunsets are "Nat Geo" worthy, it is paradise for me. Keep flying for us all Michelle, as we grow with you.

Dear Michelle, thnx for this almost straight on (small diversion) descent towards runway 18R . Sure enough, a spectacular approach in VFR and no doubt challenging in IFR. I am a private pilot and simmer, and have been enjoying these videos for some time (although I confess absent lately). The format is unique, love the popups without voice narration, and particularly the chart overlays that you do. And "butter" landings like this one NEVER get old for pilots. Well done.
