What does it take for a man to be considered as masculine? What traits do we must have as men so that we ourselves can be confident enough to admit that we are masculine and high value men? Strength? Courage? Emotional control? Ambitions? Visions? Humility? Generosity? They are all essential and important traits that a good man must have. But what is that "One" definitive thing that eclipses all these traits, and actually harness them together? That one word that perfectly describe masculinity........

I beg to differ, sometimes it is much better to actually do nothing and it is actually better to wait. Perhaps there's never a right time but then again you need to master the art of timing. Just because you take action and do a lot of things does not mean it's useful or beneficial for you. Sometimes doing nothing is the best solution to a lot of things. By patiently waiting things out, things fall in their natural place and the universe is in balance and at peace. By constantly trying to control and force things you just end up ruining yourself, hence the saying "go with the flow" or "be like water". But also here, there needs to be a balance. Not too much control and not too much flow. Balance is always key to everything in life.

Be it a man or a woman, for both need a balance between the masculine and the femenine, nobody can be satisfied in life without action. Much sickness comes from the inate fear of premature death that inaction entails. I found this greatly ispirational, thank you

Making a decision and "failing" is greater than being paralyzed by fear and doubt and not making a decision at all. You must not care what others have to say when you take risks and fail. At least you learn something along the way than just sitting around doing nothing. And ignore the people that laugh at you when you stumble and fall. People only talk bad about other people that are doing the things that they don't have the courage to do themselves.

Very interesting... I have spent my life in insecurity, lost in the World and uncapable of "creating", exiting my comfort zone and reach out to my dreams.... It took years of therapy (and still takes more) and talking with relatives, in order to finally realize, how much of a psychological damage and confusion a troubled family can do to a child looking for answers.... Now i don t know how much time left i have in thos life, but i surely left the past where it is, accept and know myself as a man, and started looking forward and, hopefully, i ll fullfill some of my aspirations in life... Thanx for a very interesting content

Action is necessary & good. However, its important to recognise that to clear a cloudy pool you don't try move the disturbed water away, you wait. Sometimes effort creates the opposite of the intended goal. You want to be happy, don't try or even want to be happy & you'll be happy. Many examples, try to sleep, get a girl, even get fit (I personally have found). Its the paradoxical ironical nature of the world we live in.

I am a muslim and hearing what you said reminds me of teaching of islam both men and women are equal but we only differ in our roles which god has given to us considering both our psycology and physiology ,a man will be terrible at raising kids which require lots and lots of patience which women are naturally gifted with just to quote an example and in islam mother has been given a very high status we believe heaven lies in the feet of mother , so both men and women are responsible to work as a team as per the guidance given by god ,man has been placed as leader of house if the house is in order family will be in order and if the family is in order whole society will be in order.... May peace and blessings be upon you all

@@Aboriginal_American_Hebrew i understand, once had seen a picture people with different heights wanted to look through the window which was high ,now as far as equality is concerned only tall people were able to see outside as all people stood in line but with equity some table was kept beneath people who couldnt see because of low height so that everyone can enjoy the view outside the window.. my point was that creator has made both men and women as ashraful makhlooqat meaning best of all creation he has given us roles which suits us...together we complete each other and form a good team which leads to happy family and ultimately to happy society..and hopefully after the test of this life is finished happylife in hereafter insha allah

Masculinity and femininity is not exclusive to men and women. In both male and female resides masculine and feminine, or anima and animus. If a masculine man had no femininity he would only work out for power, but we all know that a large part of the motivation is for the physique and appearance, which is feminine. If women had no masculinity, they wouldn’t have the drive to look attractive because the attaining of that goal is masculine. It’s a balance if act, both parts are equally needed.

During my spiritual journey and seeking, I realised that at birth I was given feminine energy and I developed it over my growing up. I just have to say being a man with more feminine than masculine energy and qualities is soo depressing. Being passive, inwardly driven, wavy and emotional decreases life quality as a man to a powerful degree. Struggling with setting goals and achieving them. Overthinking, extreme sensitivity, daydreaming, not being able to form any relationship, I could just go on. I dont care about imbalance of these two forces on the planet. The point is, from my expierence, if you have as a man masculine presence and energy and you are confident in it, small reminder, be grateful for real.

Yup. You're the only one out of this comments section that could have good experiences with women. (Not that you worry about it, but it's just my observation.) Because you and us agree that the most attractive man is a combination of feminine and masculine. Women obv don't think feminine traits are inferior, the way men do, so they love to see them in a man. They want a Disney prince to whom they can be a Disney princess to, not a masculine beast, that men want to be, because other men presented it as a more worthy option. One can be prince-like and sexual, lively, active and not passive if they don't want to, it's not a contradiction.
