The Maserti Quattroporte Sport GTS is a Ferrari V8 powered Executive saloon that is fun to drive. The Bilstein dampers help make this saloon incredibly engaging to drive. With four doors, it's also a practical car, able to carry a family of four in comfort, what's not to love?
The running costs may be high, but when you have the combination of that Ferrari V8, the eight speed ZF gearbox and suspension that is supple yet sporty - why would you buy a BMW 7 Series or Mercedes-Benz S Class?
The Maserti Quattroporte GTS is a hidden gem, and I absolutely loved it.

I've got one. It's been reliable for 4 years now except random electrical faults (mostly dash warnings) if I let the battery run low. Oddly, they usually fix themselves after a decent run :) I'm thinking of selling but I know that I'll miss it when it's gone. There's really nothing else like it, or even close to it.

If I was speccing a car and heated seats were optional and not part of some other package then I maybe wouldn't bother. Probably because I don't go around driving cars in short trousers in winter 😀 Cooled seats, however, are well worth getting. (Epic sounds from the QP btw)

LC500 is pretty spectacular. Having driven both I’d say the Lexus pips it. But the QPV rides better.

You should try a Jaguar XJR R V8 2015-2017. Another great super saloon which I am eyeing up. Arguably better overall than the Masa, I would not refuse either though and Jag specialists are more plentiful in Blighty.

That’s true, or on a smaller budget the S-Type R. Tempting, I’ve never owned a jaguar or supercharged car either. Two for one! 🤔

That’s quite rare, it’s a QP Sport GTS, not a GTS. I’m happy to be corrected but I believe there were less than 100 RHD Sport GTS ever made.

You right with name, but no with quantity. There was a 126 limited edition called “Awards edition” with 450hp and ventilated massaging seats in comparison with “normal”” Sport GTS with 440hp.

@@crazydog.x Unfortunately, no. Only some employees from the Maserati dealer might know the exact quantity. Since it is Italian, I guess most of the cars wbe LHD.

@@unnamedxbox Yes, I read on a Maserati forim that only 88 right hand drive QP Sport GTS were built, but I've no idea if this is accurate :)

That car has almost certainly got heated heats …… the controls are hidden under the front of the seat and that’s why you didn’t see them ….
