in manga, kaneki did not join aogiri, he leaves anteiku and make his own group with tsukuyama and banjo, trying to find the doctor of the 1st episode, they did spend a lot of time togheter

well tsukiyama spent a lot of time together with kaneki. this will be missed because the story in s2 is totally out of the rail. In manga it is quite nicely shown the time that they spent and since s3 follows the manga it is obvious to be confused
